Hi,
I am in the process of porting out of Cirles.Life as my $18 sims plan expired. When I tried to find my account details on their website, I found they have a special promotion. Unfortunately, they cant/wont sign my up on the new plans, they mentioned they will have an upgrade for existing users in Feb. Since i already signup with Spintel, I am going ahead with porting out.

May help someone who want to signup with them. I think the $14- 8GB unlimited talk/text is a good deal if you are not using that much data!

    Are they on Telstra network?

    • Optus 4G+

    Avoid.

What's a better alternative for $28 per month for 100GB (or more) of mobile broadband?

      • +1
        • Thanks! Will give them a go. Hopefully Vodafone reception is as fast as Optus in my area.

          • @thestig: Felix has been awesome. I've actually been using the sim in a Netgear Nighthawk M1, piped into my home network without issue. Speeds have been consistently the full 20/20 as my Vodafone coverabe is good at home

            • @dantione: Ive been wanting to do this but was worried about their terms and conditions - ie not to be put into a modem etc.

              • @rxjb: Its odd because they encourage people to hotspot from mobile devices… Just states no modems. I can confirm they aren't policing this in any way - so go for it!

      • If you have dual sim phone:
Telstra XS or S for data, then a prepaid sim for calls and txt/mms of your liking should be under $28/mth.

    • care to elaborate?

Search for previous posts about this co on OZB and you will be elaborated…

how about a cliff notes version?

          e.g. They kidnapped children.

          • @lostn: Perhaps they are the parent company of Youfoodz

I've been with circles since Aug 2020. I currently pay $28 for 200gb. Good value for money. No issues so far. They only have an online customer service. Customer service were fine and dealt with an issue I had porting over from Optus. They are however on optus network so not recommended if telstra network is required for you.

  • catch connect 365 day sim plan the way to go. it is too underratted.

I've been using it for $28 for 100GB per month mobile broadband on a month to month contract and it has been fine. Any of the negs got a better alternative?

      • catch connect, unlim, 120gb per year (12gb per month) $99 per year! optus > telstra in my area (doncaster, melb metro)

        • +1

Need 100GB or more per month, not per year. Also, Circle uses Optus.

          • @thestig: wow why do u need that much per month? no wifi?

i stream literally all day music, then at the gym, and still dont use no more than 8gb per month inc fb, net, uploading photos, etc

Have you got a better alternative offering 100GB or more per month for a similar price? All these negs but no alternatives offered so far.

      • +2

we don't neg because there is a better alternative offering, we neg because they are dodgy company.. so what if no one else offer 28 bucks for 100gb, i would rather get half of that with a better company..

        • I'm simply asking what a better alternative is around that mark, hawkeye93 gave a good one above I'll try for more data. Been with Circle for almost 2 years without issue for my use.

          • -2

@thestig: sorry i didnt know you are just simply asking a question. your last sentence simply sounds like you are asking for a justification for negs. Also you posted the same thing like 3 times but glad you got your answer.q

            • @Dotherightthing: sounds sockpuppety asking the same thing three times

              • +2

@tonyjzx: Not one neg said there is a better competitive retailer out there. I asked different people the same question as there hadn't been an answer posted. Now there has been above. Would a sockpuppet say they are going to move to a different company?

          • @thestig: Felix - $35 unlimited capped at 20/20mbps (Vodafone 4G)

    • what did they do?

      • Up the top of the page there is a search field. Search for them in there for previous posts and become enlightened ;-)

        • +3

I looked but all I saw was a bunch more negs with comments about "worst company" and no elaboration on why.

At this stage I can only assume it's a meme.
