        • $10 per month for 70GB is a great deal with or without the referral credit.
The T&Cs does say referral is not available with any other offer or promotion so whether they give you the credit is up to their discretion. I got the credit via online chat - only took a few minutes. I think some people got rejected because they didn't enter the referral number when signing up.

          • @jackofspade: Hi JoS!
It's OK, but I'm used to more data for much less money (like 2 months of 100GB for $1)😉

Yes, seems asking for your initial $20 credit for using another person's referral is the only way. And might take more than 1 attempt. Others have been successful with that approach.

(This promotion) Not to be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer.

Whether a normal part of the sign up process (using a member referral) could ever be considered another promotion under the t&c is very unlikely.

[On Friday, I received an apology & $1500 compensation for poor customer service from a bank. I had only asked for $1200. A nice surprise!
Just took a few complaints to the right people & time. Their lack of response made compensation more likely. Didn't even need to mention the Ombudsman or the service's new name. They knew they were in the wrong.]

Like this, I don't stress over the issue, just lodge complaints & follow it up. It's often the way you phrase your complaint that determines the outcome.
They don't want bad publicity for their 1 year old fledgling mobile service

            • @INFIDEL: I was referring to the T&Cs of the referral program

7.1.8. The Member Get Member promotion is not intended to be available with any other offer or promotion.

              $1500! wow nice win

              • @jackofspade: Ah… Thanks.
Still others have been told it will be applied. And comment it was applied in previous promotion Deal.

I very rarely lose in consumer disputes!
But having the correct t&c is vital!

[The bank's complaints staff member was shocked her recommended actions weren't followed by the bank. So she immediately added $300 onto my claim - for the bank's failure to respond. An additional 25% penalty on top of a penalty without even asking - nice!]

    • "If you haven't received a Referral credit from using another person's Ozsale number during sign up - a $20 credit can still be applied."

It cannot be applied until both numbers are activated. Since you are not activating your number as a referrer, none of the referees will get their credit. I chat to them multiple times.

      • About to activate, after unexpected delays by Ozsale.

Yes that's true about referral credit, but… I was referring to another way the $20 credit can be applied!
Response to a person who used my number for referral, who asked on Chat - applied as a $20 credit adjustment, rather than a referral credit.

Ozsale can do that, rather than as a referral credit. You end up with the same outcome - $20 on your account. That's why I posted that information.

After all, Ozsale accepted the yet to be activated Ozsale number as a legitimate number for referral! If it could not be used, their system should have automatically refused it. I tested that it was accepted before adding as a referral.

It was an error by the Ozsale system, hence the $20 account credit adjustment!

Ozsale failed to answer my questions about referral conditions at the very start of this Deal. They did not respond to my email complaint about that.

There has been conflicting advice by Ozsale. Can the referral be applied with this offer? Can referral credit be applied to the following $10 costs? It was all uncertain & unknown. A very unsatisfactory Deal & service provider! Am the only one to withdraw their upvote.

  • They have refused it on the basis that you can NOT combine two promotions: either

    $10 promotion
    $20 referral

    but NOT BOTH

    WHO HAS THE REFERRAL CREDITS?

    • I got one of three credits so they do cheat so far

    • my second credit appeared so now I have 40 credit but I believe there should be a 3rd one but I am not fussed about it 40.00 credit is acceptable - means I get the 3 months free plus a $10. credit still to be applied so I feel I won in that way.

      • Plenty of reasons for not receiving referral credit yet…
People may request a referral from multiple people & not use yours, activate later (up to 28/2), or decide not buy.
