Seems to be mainly WA and regional post codes
Tried with post code 6125.
ID check can be a different address, I don't think they actually check your postcode.

Referrer & referee receive $25-$50 credit after referee's 3rd monthly bill.
Yeah it seems to go with their regional 'upgrade'.
It let me put a random post code, then a completely different address when i put in my ID so it's not restricted.
Decent for those who need data. Prepaid yearly SIMs are for a different segment of the market
Not really, more people need to catch on that prepay is a better deal almost everytime. UNLESS you travel overseas
This is a terrible deal if you travel overseas, Felix is always the go to for that. $20/year for overseas credit (4GB)
Prepaid yearly deals don't have 720GB data for $34.50
$199 for 500GB you do the math. This is only for 6 months you end up paying for it in the long run and you NEVER use the data lol
Who says you must stay on after 6 months? People churn
Kogan has no 5g. Also no call diversions (some people need this).
Voda also has unlimited data if you've used up all your monthly data (at slower speeds).
Kogan seems to also throttle your speeds if you're a 'heavy data user' as per their CIS.
@mbck: Kogan has 5G on the large and extra large plans, also what are you doing to use that amount of data on a mobile plan.
$207 for 4.32TB… You do the math
$147 for 600GB
Also no 150Mbps limit and band 258 in some areas.
Use cases apply as with anything, if you need lower data and/or data banking buy a different plan.
@Dyl: i did the math its a rip off IMO. But be a consumer. You're not going to use that amount so its a waste of money
You're not going to use that amount so its a waste of money
YOU aren't, doesn't mean no one will. Plenty of people use more than ~300GB/year.
I have a Felix data banking plan instead personally so I get your point, but some people will make use of this.
bugger, i was all set to sign up until i read the T&Cs:
Tethering is permitted from your mobile phone to your other personal devices only, but must not be used in a modem or as a substitute for a home internet service
they've also got an approved device list https://www.vodafone.com.au/about/legal/devices
Oof didn't notice this, was going to put it in a Sonim h700 for n258
these plans must not be used to provide tethering to other people's devices (for example the devices of members of your household, colleagues or friends), nor used as a substitute for a home internet service
What's the difference between tethering to others, and a 'home internet service' ?
We're allowed to tether to our own devices, after all.
might be able to get cashback from cashrewards as well? https://www.cashrewards.com.au/store/vodafone
Isn't lasted as a promo, but worth a shot
Top cashback pays more from memory
I don't think they actually check your postcode
it's a postpaid service according to the CIS, i suspect they will
They accepted my ID for eSIM with a different address
No real upgrade in my area, still bad connection and calls dropping off, tested Hotspot and only 800b-17Kb/s very slow bad …never again will I get Voda
The “upgrade” is bs, basically they now have access to rural Optus towers for roaming (free).
No speed difference, the access is limited. It’s purely a coverage upgrade not speed
sadly Victoria area is …
Unable to connect to this offer
Doing you a favour, they are trash in VIC.
They’re okay in the city imo, not Optus speed but I still get 500Mbps most places
Optus gets 1Gbps+
Looks to be suburban areas. Tried a bunch 20kms away from Brisbane and they worked.
