  I really want to enjoy the "Warriors" games, but I definitely feel like they just don't evolve enough despite each new lick of paint or new licensed title.

  I quite enjoyed Ninety Nine Nights, thought I might enjoy Hyrule Warriors as I'm a Zelda fan but I couldn't get through it despite all the Zelda lore & stuff. They just end up such a slog and so grindy :-(

  Really interested in One Piece and that it covers from the start of the story, but don't know if Warriors style is the avenue into it for me.

  Anyone else care to weigh in on it it's worth it for someone like me?

    Honestly, if you just care about the One Piece aspect, you're probably not going to have much fun as its really repetitive. If you're interested in both the game style and One Piece then give it a try. I personally haven't really played much of it but i know its not a bad game and if i had it on the switch I'd definitely play more of it cause im back in the hype cause Chapter 1001 was mfing lit!!!

      Cheers man, think it's probs a pass for me then. Might maybe just give the anime a look in instead. Had hoped maybe it would be a fun enough way to experience the story but it sounds like I might tap out again before the end.

    IMO Warriors games are only good for that 1 hr back- from-work de-stress sessions.

    As someone who has been following OP anime and plays the warriors games (except the recent dlc money grabbing ones ) I feel that this might spoil my expectations of the game. (Been looking at play through videos)
    The other thing is with it being the switch platform, I’m not sure how the enemies would render as in older warriors games, the differences between the PS4 and pc meant that some enemies were not rendered until you are really close.

      Ah, for those after work de-stress sessions I've definitely got a small pool I come back to already to keep me satiated.

      Was hoping it might be a good game to see the story and be involved at the same time but as seems to be echoed by others I don't think the gameplay would be enough to see me through.

      Might see if there is a demo at least. Edit: ah damn doesn't look like it.
