      So many companies have offered these 'plates' and folded. Many more are offering these 'pre-orders'.

      I'm guessing there's a factory in China somewhere that's pumping them out and they'll flood eBay with much cheaper price points soon. Don't get ripped off here where they're trying to cash in quick before the rush.

            You are right, you can buy them on Aliexpress. However, if you read the bottom of your link they are not available until 3rd April and that's $44.10AUD per item.
            We are also offering free shipment on these (which cost us about $12 per plate). If you consider those figures, you'll see that this is as cheap as anyone could sell them. We are not making large profits here, simply getting our name out there as a new retailer. Cheers

                @Hybroid: We have close dealings with AliExpress and have had these ordered for over 2 months now, they won't be able to deliver in that time frame.

                I am completely fine with people ordering from AliExpress over us though, however just consider the fact that there's value in customer service and that we are a registered Australian business governed by Australia consumer law - protecting the consumer. In the instance of an issue with your product, we offer an immediate refund no questions asked, I challenge you to try and communicate your issues through a live chat on AliExpress.
                Let alone receive a replacement product in a timely manner.

                Of course we have a markup on our products, that is how a business works. When you consider import taxes, shipping fees to us, then to our customer and the 10% discount. There's a very very small profit here, no one is making millions. Cheers.

                  @OzPlay Accessories: Helpful tip, don't try to fantasise reselling around here, the community isn't stupid.

                  You don't have "close dealings" with AliExpress, they couldn't give a hot steaming poop about your tiny 100-200pc order. If you received 200 hot turds of a product, you'd be up shit creek and so would all your customers. You're selling something you've not personally inspected yet.

                  Here is where a reseller has value:

                  1) Has inspected the product

                  2) HAS the delivered product in hand for shipping

                  You're currently 0/2.

                  Your markup is modest to be honest but you can drop the "pretend business" attitude around here, you'll just be digging yourself a bigger hole.

              I think you have set the wrong country for your shipping location.

              When I set it to Australia it shows an ETA of arriving by February 13 (early FEB just like your stock) and the price is listed as $38.36 shipped. It's also offering me a $3.95 New User Coupon to bring the price down further.

                @HomeAlone: OPs stock is from Alibaba not Aliexpress the unit cost is only around USD8 but the shipping is quite high so depending on if being stung with customs on the 120 orders that Alibaa reports a Australian user purchased the cost price is around $31-34 each.

                You can order single samples from alibaba that would be a individuals cheapest way to get these pieces of plastic, looks like the quality will be interesting to see

      I know heaps of people with PS5s and heaps of people waiting for PS5s. Considering the PS5 only comes in white, it's fine to offer customisation for owners.

      Hi Joe,

      No they don't. That was actually one of Sony's biggest issues with PlateStation and others designing their own faceplates, many were using the PS logo which resulted in legal comments being thrown around! Cheers

    If you think you get to decide on refunds complete and infinite authority you need to read up on australian consumer law.

    If the customer being a reasonable person decides the item is not fit for purpose or of reasonable quality, you don't get a say in it, you are obligated to refund…

    I think paying a slight premium over ordering from China and not having to wait 1-3 months for delivery is worth it.

        That’s not true, no one else in Australia has Custom Faceplates yet. We will have the first batch to enter Australia.

        Also, look at our controller faceplates. We have many of those in stock and have already sold a lot with fantastic reviews.
        We know preorders are not for everyone, I’m not saying anywhere that we have them yet, as no one does. It’s the only item we have for preorder and it’s simply by popular demand…

              @Rukiata: To be honest I don't know how to rate it, it just feels like plastic, they're missing the sony cutout on it, they feel different to the original panels but I dont know if thats a good or a bad thing.

              Putting it on was absolutely easy though and most of the clips went in first go. They still feel like they will mark and scratch really easy kinda hesitant to try.
