      Damage Per Second

They're referring to your lumbar spine!

    • Same

    Where is it damaged ?

    • +14

One new damage will appear on the chair per second.

      • where does it say one ?

        • +8

the word damage is not plural

          • +1

            @skido: 1 damage per second.
            2…….damages per second?

        • Yeah what a bad value if it's only 1 damage per second, it would have to be at least 3 damage per second for this to be a good value.

      • Pleather?

If so, sadly you're probably not far from the truth. Cheap pleather sucks.

    • Probably your lower back

    • You need to equip it with a Radiance for dps

      Does that mean it's smelly?

      • +1

depends if had beans before sitting in it..

      • +2

I bought one yesterday. It is smelly, quite strong. The cushion could not compare to a good ergonomic office chair, otherwise, it is a quality chair. It is much much better than the Officeworks budget game chair.

so how many seconds will this chair last?

    • depends on how much hitpoints it has

  • +1

Is this a multiplicative or additive DPS increase?

    • +2

It stacks. 100% critical Dps to your posture

From a quick youtube review, it seems like you can't adjust the backrest for this chair. Think I'd spend another $50 for a chair that allows that.

Focusing on the wrong thing - these chairs are 3D people - so much better than my current 2D version.

  • Aim went up 15% using my last gaming chair can I expect something similar with this one

    • Just aim for the urinal cake

I bought one. Fits my body better than my $700 Secret Lab that's caused me to get lower back pain and sent me to the osteo for 6 months.

    • Does this one have an adjustable lumbar support like the SecretLab ones do? I've had a SecretLab Titan for a few years now and am interested in this if it's better comfort wise… my current chair feels like sitting on a damn rock, and hurts my back too.

  • Why do gaming chairs always have to look and feel like bloody racing seats?? I don't need to be bolstered from high G's while in my undies, sitting in my basement!!

Jokes aside, it really does look like one of those chairs. Can you sit comfortably in it for long?

    • +4

      No

    • +2

As someone with a DX Racer chair that is the right size for my weight and size, yes you can… so much so that I enjoy sitting in it working from home more than I ever did sitting in the "executive office chairs" that work paid a lot more money for!

    • I have taken a replica recaro and mounted it on an office chair base. I can sit in it for hours comfortably, but you need to tweak to get the proper seating position.

I've seen someone do the same with Honda accord euro seats, which are arguably some of the most comfortable car seats around

  • It has never been easier to raise your DPS

  • Can this be used as a chair for a teenager's study table.

  • would like to buy one.
    anyone knows the box size?
Would it fit into sedan car boot or back seat space ?

    • Box size H 70 x W 67 x D 37 cm, weight is about 20kg.

    • Boot depend on what sedan, back seat will do for most card

  • Gone from Damage per weeks to Damage per second! Returned OW's Yorkshire chair which costed $209 but only took a few weeks to get 'damage'd.

  • Does anyone know the max suggested weight and hours at a time suggestion for this chair?

    • The chair on the USA Costco website states the max weight is 275lbs which is about 125kg.

      • I contacted the Costco support and they only just emailed me their response:

Our team have contacted us back stating that #1363228- Damage Per Second Insight Gaming Chair, the chair can support up to 125kg.

The vendor has also advised a maximum of 8 hours a day.

I realise the deal has ended, but I hope this comment helps someone who might be interested in the chair for the regular price or if the chair is discounted again :)

  • I'm desperately looking for a new chair.

How doe this compare to the Onex GE300 Office?

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/596927

    • Cant comment on the the chair above, bought I bought the GE300 recently and I've been very very happy with it.

      • the GE300 chair is sold out everywhere. Was willing to pay $299 at JB HIFI and even there it was sold out.

        • I got it from Costco (Perth) there was some still available recently.

Officeworks has it listed on their website then theres ebay from memory.

        • Just checked and multiple colours available online.

@Chickfilo: what about instore for $269?

            • @Homr: None in my local when I checked this weekend.

  • Hi all, I just opened my box to find that one of the 44mm screws for the base is too short :( does anyone know where I can get replacement screws for this chair at all?

    • If I remember correctly, the screws for the base are 2 long and 2 short, you can check if you used them in right position.
