Citizen Titanium Watch - NJ2180-89l $249 Delivered @ Starbuy

160

One-day star deal which matches the previous lowest price for this beautiful watch.

I bought this watch the last time it was on sale, and it is an absolute delight. Very light on the arm, automatic, and beautiful action. Has a stunning face too which is what sold me. With full wind will last for a couple of days without wearing.

Starbuy is super fast with their deliveries too, with mine arriving on Tuesday after ordering on the weekend.
Enjoy!

  • Citizen looks to be selling it for 650, other places are selling for around 380-390. Seems like a good deal.

    • I doubt that anyone, anywhere in the world, has ever paid $650 for this watch.

      • Yeah… that's what I thought when I saw it.

Its probably the best specced watch you can get for the price - full titanium build + sapphire glass for under $250. the movement is very basic though (no hacking and not sure about hand winding).

Citizen specs show it is a Calibre 8210 (https://www.citizenwatches.com.au/products/nj2180-89l)

This suggests it is 21 Jewels, 45hr power reserve, 21600vph, hand windable, not hackable, uni-directional winding (https://calibercorner.com/citizen-caliber-8213/ note that this 8213 is a 8210 with small seconds sub dial instead of the normal central seconds hand)

Being an 8000 series, the word of warning is that these are known to have rotor noise. I have not owned one so I can't comment on how bad/bearable it is.

IF this was an ECO-Drive I would be very interested in one of these.

      • There is an Eco drive same price/same discount.

  • I was given this exact same watch as a present last August when it came on Ozbargain. Unfortunately the watch gains about a minute every day. The gifter bought it from Starbuy as well however appears to have lost the invoice and I cant keep asking as it was a present. Does anyone know how I can get it fixed under warranty?

    • Do you have the warranty card? Maybe ask the gifter if they can help as it needs a service, that should be covered under warranty.

+40s is within spec for this movement.
