Yes, specially against Black Friday deal of Q80.

good on you. I missed out on that, it's hard to get anywhere close to that price now. How did you find the TV specially for watching sports?

I got the 75 Q80T during the BF sales. The first one had vertical banding and DSE which the tech acknowledged and I was able to get a replacement set. The replacement was even worse but the tech this time called it "as per specification". After a lot of back and forth and help from the retailer, I have returned the set for store credit. Will not recommend Q80T for sports as once you see the bands you cant unsee them. Q70T maybe different as I think it doesnt have a FALD panel.
I wish I pulled the trigger back then.

Wish Samsung would get on the Dolby vision bandwagon.
Q80T price drop should be next but expecting $3500+ :(. It'll be a bit of a stiff to consumers and an fu to Sony who haven't made the PS5 4k HDR 120hz compatible yet on the Samsung's.
