Depends on how much you want to spend. I’d advise against the dirt-cheap ones and stick with a good name brand (unless it’s a clapped-out paddock runner that you’re planning to sell soon, then anything will do). Take a photo of your battery showing the model number then search for that on the site and it should give you the correct size and terminal orientation. You may even be able to search on the make, model, and year of your car as well, but you might be given a choice that’s not 100% suitable. For a passenger car you don’t need a heavy duty or deep cycle one. Most batteries can be sorted by how long the warranty is: the longer the warranty the better the quality, but comes at a commensurate price point. The last time I bought a battery for a Hyundai Getz, which is a comparable size, I paid ~$190 for one with a two-year warranty, and as far as I know it’s still going well after three years (my son has the car now). If you want the best advice, see a specialist auto battery shop and they can fit the right one for you. It might cost a tad more, but you should be getting a specialist service and peace-of-mind.

      • Yea thanks for that. It's in pristine condition and I want the best for the car. I'll try your advice and shop around. Cheers!

    • If you have start-stop it’d be this battery got this one recently when they had battery sale, same price $210 minus discounted gc.

      • Apparently SCA will not fit the battery for $15 if your vehicle has a start stop engine.
They don't provide a reason as to why they have this policy.
