        I stand corrected. In total, there are about 6-8 different category numbers/item codes for various ipad 1 covers that have been discounted to $1.

        Last time i checked, the Dick Smith leather folio one was completely sold out in Sydney, even though the website says that Bankstown and North Parramatta stores have them in stock.

        There are also a number if iLuv and Belkin branded cases that have been reduced to that $1 which may or may not be available.

      Funny guy. This is a bargains website where people - believe it or not - discuss bargains.

      These cases are clearly not made to be worth $1, rather, made to be more expensive and due to their age and obsolete status, have been slashed in price to clear them off.

      I have the pleasure of seeing cost prices and believe me when i say that these cases that are being sold for $1 are a LONG way below store and company cost.

    just picked mine up from Greensborough (Northern Suburbs of Melbourne)
    The Dick at the counter told me they got to work this morning and there were 6 orders/reserves for these cases, and they had 5 in stock. Apparently one person missed out by ONE MINUTE,

    It's a great case, (and iPad2s will fit in there too, just no hole for the camera on the back)

    Just called Penrith Mulgoa Road store. They have 4 in stock (1 already allocated, so basically 3 remaining).

    Sucks they don't home deliver..

    They have gone done in price now. Only 80cents and iPad 2 can uses this two but covers cameras.
