If you have tested it that means you have no control over manufacture and are more than likely drop shipping. Kaliexpress and fleabay are full of the exact same dimension product with very similar designs at about half the price shipped.
Our bath mats are made in China as we're unable to find any manufacturer that makes diatomaceous earth bath mats in Australia. (except food grade diatomaceous earth)
As with all imported products from around the world, there are many manufacturers and many importers of the same looking product with varying degrees of quality, the quality is relative to price.
Without going into too many technical details, the main visible quality differences would vary on water absorption and durability.
If the importer only wants to import products at the cheapest price possible with the aim of selling their product cheaper than everyone else, this will certainly sacrifice on quality.
Before we select a supplier, we visit their factory to make sure the products produced are of a high quality standard and they have an ethical working environment.
Quality manufacturers are out there, just harder to find.

I’ve been using it three weeks now and I would say it is decent for the price. However the mat is not as absorbent as it was described. Waters are evidently present after you step out of it. So don’t have too high expectation. Japanese mat was much more absorbent but it was twice more expensive.
