Everything I buy from zavvi comes ends up being delivered with a trashed box, not that it matters because we toss the box and just build the Lego…but if you're picky about the box I wouldn't buy from zavvi.
I made the mistake of purchasing a ceramic mug from Zavvi once.
It was delivered in the worst packaging imaginable and of course smashed into a million pieces by the time it arrived after its 2+ week voyage from overseas.
I was so annoyed by the laziness and idiocy displayed that I vowed to never buy anything from them again.
They also pretend that they're located in Australia as well which is another story.
took a gamble when they had the london bus sale. the box arrived safely with big box and air bags.
Be warned this lot are a nightmare to deal with when things go wrong. Definitely wouldn't recommend for high priced items/orders even when paying with PayPal. Just google Zavvi/Hut reviews they're not what they used to be. Absolutely zero customer service.
