  You know what id love, one of these 'dumb' phones that did have NFC and a decent camera, but still small and capable of phone/texts/maps/basic internet only. The small screen would be less breakable too. I waste too much time on my phone so considered a non smart phone but I still want the functionality if that makes sense. Apparently these can come with NFC but I haven't found any.

    You want app features like maps and a browser but something that doesn't have an operating system that provides these features? Or just no play store functionality (like this device)?

  Interesting, I thought it was a feature phone. It's actually a Android Phone but without Google Play support.

  *Please note that the Google Play Store is not available on the SmartFlip due to the limitations of the 2.8 inch screen size. The Opel Mobile SmartFlip is not compatible with the Australian COVIDSafe application.

  I'm tied to smartphones by 2FA and 2FA apps. Can't see any way around it.

      Banks don't SMS these days, they require you to install the banking app and use that to generate security codes. SMS-based 2Fa is also not secure for a variety of reasons.

  this is a very good phone - bought one recently for $129 for mum after her pathetic aspera f40 phone suddenly stopped working a week outside warranty (!)

  very happy with the opel so far - best phone for seniors - big buttons - it's loud - and even has an easy to use speakerphone function

  also touchscreen menu is well thought out and easy to use

    I too bought one for my mum about a year ago and its still going strong. Definitely the best flip phone out there.
