I bought this in the last deal and it still hasn't arrive yet lol

Yes….me too. But it has been shipped and the shipping date was advertised at the time of placing the order and was accurate.

    • So did I, my tracking says it arrived in Australia and cleared customs on Friday so hopefully I should have it early next week.

    • Same, but looking at the packaging trail I should have it Tue-Wed

    • mine hasn't arrived but a couple of weeks ago I got an Email saying shipped.

    uh.. huh.

Is what it is. I've bought a couple of things through them and not had any issues.

    Battery operated though

You can't really expect a flight chronograph at this price to be mechanical. For that, the navitimer exists.

I much prefer quartz (or mecha-quartz) for complicated movements, up until around $2000-3000 price point

      • It’s kind of annoying when you are in the middle of nowhere and the battery dies. Each to their own but I really prefer automatic or kinetic or solar powered knowing that battery will not die when you really need the watch.

It looks nice for sure as fightmaster but would be brilliant with automatic etc

I find with cheaper automatics, the more complication the less reliable they are. I'd definitely recommend the Breitling Navitimer as the commenter above suggested if you want an auto chrono, beautiful watch, picked one up a few years back and it's definitely my top 2 for most worn in my collection.

But I do agree that solar would be really awesome on this watch. I own a few Citizen Eco-Drives and they are super reliable and don't have to worry about them as much.

Exactly, when I crash land my plane in the jungle I need this watch to work for several years while I figure out what to do like in Lost.

  • Anyone wears one to work ?

    • Thanks ordered one regardless to find out!

    • I did, pre covid. Works best on a nice 20mm leather strap. Great watch.

  • thanks OP purchased

  • Wow that is a busy face

    • yeah, more of a conversation piece than practical time piece, it's why I bought one, I have enough functional face watches.

  • just received my from the first deal of these, although im struggling to click out the crown… wanted to check if anyone else experienced same?

    • ahh screw down crown… mybad
