Good deal but missing thunderbolt on this model for those that may want to run a separate enclosure for a better graphics card etc.

    • Any suggestions on a cheap TB enclosure for Graphics card?

  • Good that it has 6 USB 3.1/3.2 gen 2 ports, but Intel® Wireless-AC 3168 with bluetooth 4.2 is disappointing.

  • these boxes are absolutely incredible. I have two and want to get literally 8 more.

  • 16GB bundle is out of stock

  • Brix are solid units. I use Datto backup in a lot of places and their hardware is usually various models of these rebranded.

  • Any 4xxx mini PC cheap?

    • If you really need it, then it is a great deal

  • Can you run 2 external monitors with this box?

  • All now OOS.

This is a long running deal I posted it up last year and have been using mine since. While I like it very much, I just ordered the Intel version from shopping express. The fan in this is just too loud to be located where I need it to be (media room) and no options to modify it to be more quiet. The Intel version actually has a better GPU (for my purposes) and there are much better options for quieter cooling with the Intel version. You can even get passive cooling (fanless) cases for them, these you cannot. Hard decision because I actually like the gigabyte version more (newer CPU and looks better).

    • which Intel version did you get?

    • I bought one from that deal last year. One annoying thing I found about this is, that the USB ports are upside-down.That's just me my OCD. Other than that, solid unit. I have upgraded from 8gb to 16gb.

      • Haha yeah that is weird that they did that. I had a few difficulties with that but nothing major. It's just a shame that the fan is so damn loud otherwise I would be extremely happy with the Brix.
