    16gb ram :(

    • Yeah there was a deal posted in march for same laptop with 32GB for around $2200.

      • That means the price is okish

I have the same machine, just Ryzen 375 and 32GB RAM. I hoped to use it with a 4K external screen, but the iGPU is too weak outside of light office work.

After a long day of work, the system is very slow: it takes 1.5 seconds to open the calculator and 3 seconds to open an empty folder. There are visual glitches when switching Chrome tabs: half of the screen shows the previous tab and half the current one. When I reached out to support, they said it was normal. Avoid.

P.S. The Situation can be improved via the AMD app by allocating more VRAM, but this is not a complete remedy.

    • I expect the iGPU should handle all 2d tasks and incredibly basic 3d games at 4k?

      • That was my expectation. The reality and HP support said otherwise.

32GB RAM version for $1900 here:

That's an Intel chip, rather than the AMD in the original deal.

      • Would much rather have even 256v w/ 16gb @ 1999 than 365 @ 1799.

        258v @ 1999 w/ 32gb is a pretty good deal.

Better chassis build on the intel omnibook ultra in general (newer design), take a look at the demo units in store IRL and the difference is immediate and major, the snapdragon and AMD one has a lot more flex and wobblier hinge.
