    Yeah first thing I noticed on this - I use mine all the time. I pull out all the screws I'll need, throw them on there, and grab them as required. Pity.

    this is an impact drill.

    for bricks its a hammer drill.

    google the differece.

    If you are a home hobbyist, get a drill, impact driver and possibly a hammer drill and that should do you fine for almost all jobs.
