I have one of these from a previous deal. No issues, works well.

    • How about the light?

      • +3

The Ring light on this stays on 24/7 so gave mine away as didn't like it for that reason alone. I grabbed the Blitzwolf BW-FWC5 (was $17.99 in Dec). Works well for my needs (doesn't have 15w like this one). Light is small and only on the front and turns off when nothing on it. Much better (for my bedroom needs).

    • I would also like to know how distracting that light is in a dark bedroom.

My link is not a referral link. OzBargain is set to remove those automatically. An in-house BG referral link will contain "?p=000000000000000000000" where the 0's are replaced with other characters for the unique ID.

Rather the "?ID=224&cur_warehouse=AU" does exactly what it says. It chooses the AU warehouse for you automatically. Change it from AU to CN in incognito and you'll see.

  • It says 15W 10W 7.5W 5W so what is it?

Is it better than the usual amazon ones for $15?

    • +1

Most devices with wireless charging support either 5W, 7.5W, 10W or 15W, so this charger can do all 4 of them.

    • +1

That depends what your device support, It can support up to 15W.

  • I have a generic puck like this. I found it hard to align the thing to the phone so it charged.
Are there ones that work better/worse? I have a stand one that works well because it has dual coil.
But flat ones all seem single coil
So you have to line it up real well.
I'd like a mat where i can easily just put 2 phones down to charge.

    • has bw quality gone downhill?

      • not bw, mine is unbranded wondering if any difference as they all look the same

What’s a good charger to charge these at full speed?

  • Does this work with the iPhone mini?

    • iphone mini support QI, hence it should work.

      • I have a 12 pro, and my Comsol QI fast chargers dont work on it - its a "bug" in the 12..

  • Sold out while they asked me to pick my freebie.

  • Darn, “ This warehouse can not ship to your location.”

    That was over so fast

Powers OFF Automatically When Fully Charged
When the Android phone is fully charged, the charger will stop supplying electricity.

Does this mean that if I go to bed after putting my Samsung S20FE on this with a full battery, I'll wake up with a depleted battery? Or will it trickle charge / supply the phone's power drain?

    • +1

That happens on my S10 with this charger, i always wake up with it at around 86%

    • +1

thats dumb, might as well stick to the old wired cahrgers then!

      • Eh, if I put my phone on at 25-30% when I go to bed I don't mind that it shuts off when it's full so the battery is looked after.

  • OP, any good deal on a device for using this after converting a non-supported phone? It's a little usb connection into the phone port with a slim thing that sticks on the back of the phone (inside a phone cover). Thanks

  • You need to remove phone cover to charge?

    • Depends on the case. I can wireless charge through the genuine Apple leather case no problems

    • That's the definitive question. The only reason to get one is so the flap on my Lifeproof charger location does not need to be opened and closed every day, speeding up wear of the case. Buying one and finding you have to remove the cover negates all advantage by a long way.

  • Is the cable USB-C to USB-A? Or is it USB-C both ways?

    • C to A

I now have 5 Qi chargers (thanks Ozbargain… I think?) and this is my least favourite.
The ring of light stays on, as others have said and it's the only one that won't charge my phone in a quadlock case. Yes, they're a little thicker, but the other four somehow manage…
It's also unsubstantial - very plasticky - which was surprising given the appearance. Good for travel, I suppose, but not so much for confidence given the others are all heavier.

I'd recommend a Choetech or an Anker, if you can wait…

Personally I hated this unit, the light is far too bright to have in your bedroom, and on my galaxy S10 it would charge to full charge then turn off so the phone would sit there draining for the rest of the night. Haven't had that issue with other wireless chargers so I don't believe it was the phone It didn't do this with my iPhone though.

In true bangood style they removed my negative review and offered to let me post it back at my cost.

  • This coupon can only be used on the products:1576515

Oddly enough that is the product code…

It's Out of Stock now as the AU warehouse option has disappeared.

does it make a hissing noise when charging

  • It would be beneficial to buy a QC 3.0 Charger to speed up the charging process as I have noticed the current apple default charger does not provide enough power and time of charging is too slow.

  • Got it.

Should have read the comments above. :(
