Back in the big dance, hopefully Brady can bring our 2nd championship to town.

    I live in the US and will be attending a Superbowl zoom party with the friends I had a regular Superbowl party with last year. I'm going to make Buffalo wings, Mac and cheese and guacamole. Probably too much of everything though as it's more of a pot luck thing normally and this year it will just be me eating 2kgs of wings myself.

    Not particularly bothered about the game itself, I just hope it's not a repeat of 2019's yawn fest.

      Why donā€™t you just cook less wings? Unless of course you actually want to eat 2kg of wings, in which case Godspeed. Plus, wings are mostly bone so thereā€™s not much meat anyway.

        #YOLO Nah I'll probably cook less. I have a 5lb (~2.3KG) bag of wings but I'll probably cook half on Sunday and the other half later.

        I used this recipe last year. Essentially just bake the wings and then put the sauce on afterwards which is essentially hot sauce+butter šŸ¤¤

    Not a fan of the NFL nor their use of roman numerals for the Superbowl.

    In all fairness though, I do care about the NBA finals and would reasonably expect a lot of people in Australia to not be interested in that either.

          Watching NBL hurts my head.

          It just looks so slow compared to NBA. Not too sure if I need to go to specsavers

            @iNeed2Pee: Just watch Bogut highlights from last season and it'll demonstrate the difference. He goes from a bench player in the NBA to one of the most feared rim protectors in the NBL. (You can see players second guessing driving to the basket and putting the ball up when he's under the rim.)

              @dust: So true! Ive met a couple of NBA players when I was over there.

              One was about 2.08m and he is classified a shorter guy. Couldn't believe it!

        Oh I know there's been rapid growth of NBA followers in Australia. I fell in love with the league in 2012 when my Spurs lost to OKC in the West Conference Finals.

      Not into the NBA, just not my thing. I do like the fact they dumped the Roman numbers for Super Bowl 50. I, suppose, Super Bowl L was just not a good look.

      The great thing is that it's on at a reasonable hour Australia time (10am AEDT) and WFH/mobile makes viewing it even easier
