  What Casio need to do with the GA-2100s is the same thing they did with the G-Shock Squares; make a line-up that goes all the way from sub-$100 EDC beater watch to +$1,000 premium, made in Japan, all-metal limited edition models.
  
  The demand is certainly there given how well the GA-2100 series has been selling since it released. Easily the most popular G-Shock model in the last decade and not just amongst Casio nerds but even horology enthusiasts who normally steer well away from any digital quartz stuff and/or people who've never owned a G-Shock in their lives.
