I received an AusPost catalogue today and these are the only items that interested me. The HDD is an odd size and price point, considering Officeworks and JB Hi-Fi have the 1Tb at $58/$59 respectively and OW has the 2Tb at $85. I suppose it's only worthwhile if you don't have either of those retailers near you as this is something of a compromise and has free delivery anywhere in Australia.

The lamp seems pretty good value, though, and strikes me as being a really useful thing to have in your home office if you need a wireless charger.

Edit: the lamps are marked as out of stock on the web page. Your local shop may have them, or check back later to see if more are added to the web site.

  Or pay a dollar less for a shuckable Seagate 2TB HDD at Officeworks or Harvey Norman.

    Yeah, like I said in the post, these are an odd size at an awkward price point. The only reason I can see for getting one is convenience, and that’s about it. Otherwise, it’s not stellar value.

      You're missing the point, the seagates are shuckable, higher capacity, and cheaper.
      In my experience they are also more reliable, but each to their own.
