Tahwalhi Rugged Beach Cart $99.00 (was $159.99) + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ Rebel Sport

180

If you missed out on the BCF Wanderer wagon/cart deals, I found this Tahwalhi Rugged Beach Cart at Rebel Sport which had good reviews. Looks very similar to the rugged model at BCF but is blue instead of red

  • Is this better than the bcf one? Bcf had these for 99 + you get $25 cashback via cash rewards.

I reckon its the same as the BCF one, just rebranded and colour blue…

Having said that, whenever these sales occur there is rarely ever any stock. None in WA of this particular one and $25 delivery is a joke, they should make use of their existing supply chains to allow pickup from store for free.

    • Same head company. Exact same as bcf apart from brand name and colour

Couldnt imagine this being $50 worse, have it and it is great.

    • Yep i have the kmart $50 one and its been great 2 seasons and counting.

Inlaws have this Kmart one, we found with skinny wheels it really digs into the soft sand under heavy load… otherwise great. I'd recommend others BCF/Anacobda with wider wheel base if using on the beach regularly.

      • Agree. Kmart one is the same for way less money. Ripoff. Source; I have the Kmart one.

    • I have the standard Kmart one, and since we actually use ours on sand, if I was buying again, I'd gladly pay an extra $50 to score the one in OP's link or the BCF one.

I’ve had both and the rebel / bcf (same except for colour and brand name, same head company) is far better and worth the extra for how we use it.

50kg vs 100kg rating and easy to see and feel difference in quality. Much easier to pull on the beach. Kmart one horrible in soft sand. I also like that I can load the rebel cart at home, Unclip the 4 wheels and put it straight in the back then get to destination and wheels back on in 30 seconds ready to go. Umbrella holder is strong too.

If chasing one not to be used on the beach and aren’t going to be too rough on it the $50 Kmart will do the job fine. If you want more bells and whistles and better beach use there is a $79 Kmart one that is very similar in design to rebel one but once again it is 50kg rating. I checked them both out and decided I wanted the better quality for extra $20. If I had to pay rrp of $160, firstly I wouldn’t have got it, and I wouldn’t give it such a glowing comparison as the Kmart ones to a decent job but I knew I’d be back for another much sooner.

  • Thanks! Managed to order one! Note that the rebel payment page somehow doesn't work with Google Chrome. Switched to Internet Explorer and it worked fine.

The roof would probably fly off on a windy day tho lol

    • I have that one, very good value and works well on sand

      • Including soft sand?

        • +1

          Yes, even when fully loaded

          • @Matta955: Hmm interesting. Wheels aren't removable though right?

  • These will be the good ones like the red BCF ones.

If you fish, you know why these are the best ones! 🙂

This is the same as the BCF red one, discussed in the BCF thread. Great unit

I have this one and it’s been great. Used to cart my astrophotography equipment around when shooting

  • This one is good on the sand beach

  • Tell them to drop the price to $75 and I'll buy one now.

    • Waiting for an upper cash back rate from CR/SB. Hopefully one comes before this sale price ends at the end of the month.

  • A bit late to the party but the free postage coupon RSXMW4W9P5 worked for me and knocked off $61 worth of postage.

  • This is now $74.99 on clearance. Picked one up at my local, paid with 6% discounted gift cards.
