Good camera for what I think is a great price. It's cheaper than a previous post of $229 which was also shipped from the US, but at least you are dealing with Amazon with this one.
It's the US model, so the usual warranty and power plug issues apply.

Great camera, I have bought two during the buy one get one free.
It has more controls than the Nikon S9100 and much sharper images.

Just a FYI, from personal experience, this camera sucks.
If you take photos at night (sometimes even during the day indoors) using the flash, there's a visibly darker spot in the photo where the flash is obscured by the lens.
Really poorly designed and weird placement of the flash..
Hey here's an idea. Take a small step back and a slight increase in zoom. Problem fixed (and don't assume this is an exclusive issue with just this P&S camera)
Disagree. I got one of these earlier this month and love it. This is a great price too.
Shows cannot be shipped to Australia for me, "We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to your selected destination. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order."
So might need to go through a forwarder, which would not make it so competitive.
I got as far as the order confirmation page before posting the deal, definitely ships to Sydney for $8.98 USD which make the total $201.97USD.
Still not for me. even on the product pages it says "We are not able to ship this item to your default shipping address." while I am logged in.
I can still add to cart showing $191.99, proceed to checkout tells me I qualify for free shipping. Asks me to log in again, shows me my default Perth Address which I accept, then get the cannot deliver message.
Did anyone buy this special?
PS you might want to add that this deal expires 24/12 USA time.
I also successfully reach the order confirmation page (postcode 2260). Total for me with the Amazon currency converter enabled was 205.99 inc. 9.20 shipping.
There are a few on ebay for $230 brand new and warranty is within Australia. My honest opinion is that i would rather pay the extra $20 or so just for that warranty in Australia option. Why? cause shipping overseas isnt cheap!!

If you posted the S95 from a few days ago, or the LX5 from a few weeks ago, then it would have been a REAL deal. This is just a meh.
