    Thanks mate…

  • This game made me nauseaous.

Increase FOV! Lots of new games have this tunneling issue due to being a console port.

  • Is Augmented worth getting?

    • No, unless you want the Augmented bonuses:

      • 40-page Artbook
      • Exclusive Bonus DVD: Making Of, Special Trailers, Animated storyboard of CGI trailer and Soundtrack
      • Motion Graphic Novel
      • Possible OST too

I've looked to see if you can get the bonuses separately but I couldn't find anything. My Google-fu is shocking today though :(

  • Good price. Be warned, this game is very monotonic. You could finish it in +/- 6 hrs play (hard)

Or, like me, you could take your time, do all the side quests, not skip any dialogue and take 56 hours.

      • 56!!!!!!!!! I wonder how long you play Skyrim :P

Anyway, the ending seems kinda ..so and so (ups! spoiler alert)

        • I wonder how long you play Skyrim :P

63.3 hours so far, and I'm probably not even half way through.

6 hours isn't really that bad, I mean, it's only $10, more enjoyable than some shitty movie at the cinema, goes for 4 times as long and is cheaper.

      • I paid $40 for BF3 LE, it's probably 10 times as fun as this game and I already have 110 hours gameplay…

I guess this is an OK deal.

Don't compare a mainstream FPS with this. Completely different genres, Deus Ex is an action-adventure rpg with FPS elements, and it's predominantly singleplayer, unlike Battlefield 3, so you can't count hours into this, someone could have played Brink for hundred of hours and that doesn't mean it's one of the best games ever. You have to admit, Battlefield 3 had terrible singleplayer.

        • Well, ya' got me there.

      • I paid $40 for the Augmented Edition and I thought I got my money's worth.

This is not the steam version, however I have just downloaded it and it works great.

Um, you go to your Software Library on Amazon, copy the cd key, go to your Steam program, go to the bottom left where it say add a game, then press activate product on Steam and then paste the key?

      • ^What he said.

  • Worked for me with made up address, thanks! Great price for this great game :D

  • A question: how does your credit card payment clear if the billing address doesn't match the one for the card? I changed my shipping address to a US one, but surely I need the correct AUS address for billing or the payment will be rejected?

EDIT: ok, just tried to use the US address to pay with my CC, didn't work :(
Anyone have a work-around for this problem? Will buying a giftcard (and then using that to pay) help?

    • You need to have a US billing address, not just US shipping address, for Amazon to allow the transaction to proceed.

how does your credit card payment clear if the billing address doesn't match the one for the card?

Because you have two billing addresses. You have your legit address set up first, then you add a 2nd US address.

You know - because you are currently holidaying in the US and therefore have a legitimate reason for buying US-only items. Just use "C/O The Name of the Hotel you are staying in", and their physical address.

  • Huh? You only get to put in one billing address and when I put in a US one it doesn't go through. When I put in the Australian one it says it's not available to me (as expected). At what point do you put in a US address?

    • You don't? It's digital delivery. Never even asked me for a shipping address afaik.

    • Yep, that was exactly the problem I had (although I didn't articulate it very well). Oh well, too late now…

  • When picking your billing address, consider using a hotel in Delaware - they have no sales tax. I used the Sheraton Dover Hotel.

  • Wow, that was fast.
