Sold! I had to sign up to Kogan First trial separately. If you try to do it at the same time, it doesn't give you the option of Latitude Pay because then they can't automatically bill you again when it expires.

Had no intention of buying this game as I owned it on the Wii U and i was just going play the new Bowser's Fury part on Yuzu (Switch emulator on PC) but that steelbook case plus $20 off with LatitudePay compelled me to buy. Question is, do we trust Kogan to deliver as advertised and actually include the steelbook? Personally I have had pretty bad customer service experiences with them but hopefully they deliver on this.

Yes, they do a credit check before approving/declining your request.

From reading up on credit checks, the only point it might impact is the information on "number of checks" and "amount of credit."
It's difficult to see how a single small retail credit check would have any effect, presuming you're like most and don't have multiple large credit card accounts or defaulted payments.
It's listed as a credit enquiry, but not a credit account in my credit report. It didn't affect my score (800+), but I'm in the process of refinancing my home loan and it seemed they didn't know how to handle a BNPL account. They wanted a statement with certain information on it; which isn't something LP send out automatically or that can be downloaded from their website. LP emailed me the best they could, which was a list of my purchases and remaining amounts and the bank ended up accepting it despite it not having an account number like they originally insisted on.
Now we just need Amazon to price match so I can hopefully get a refund of difference.

Amazon one doesn't come with a steelbook, highly unlikely they'll price match.
Could always just refund it though and grab this instead, always easy enough to refund with amazon :)
