  • What does blue led do?

    • +29

      Produces a blue light.

      • +1

That reminded me of Rambo 3. They are talking about a blue light… "What's this do?" "Glows blue"

  • Thanks just ordered one via Paypal. I assume these will be posted Wednesday 28th when the PO re-opens for two days over xmas & new year.

      yep sure will

ahhh damns i already ordered 2 from the jamel cables.

    hope those are better quality.

    • +8

we both sell quality cables :)

  • To purchase from Oznetics you need to sign up and give away an email address as well as the usual name and delivery address. The sign-up process asks if you want newsletters in HTML or plain-text format, so you will presumably get emails in future. No verification was done to check the email address was genuine, so those with concerns about spam could probably use a fake email address.

    • +1

we do not give away client information. We respect your privacy

      • It would be better to make the email address optional. I know several people who don't want or need an email address, but who browse the web at work during lunchbreak. Such people will not be able to purchase from you without lying, so they probably won't bother. Lost sales to you.

Secondly, I don't want to receive marketing info from you, but I wasn't given that option. I almost didn't purchase for that reason alone. Most websites give an opt-out on marketing material, why can't you?

      • thats what they all say…

  • Just ordered 2
    Thanks

  • Whats the idea with all these sellers wanting a "street address"

Companies like AAE will happily deliver to a Post Office, so if that's the excuse, its a load of crap.

So can I get these delivered to a PO Box?

    • +1

      of course you can

    • AAE is half owned by Australia Post, that's why they can.

I don't think any other couriers will deliver to PO Boxes. Haven't come across any anyway, and like you I prefer to get stuff sent to my PO Box.

      • not a problem. I prefer it too

  • Hmmm bought a 10m cable for ~$28 from Selby just last week. However it was 26awg, these ones don't list the awg.

  • Nice one, hopefully 2m is enough! Bought 2 just in case.

  • Hi. Where's your privacy statement. Thanks

    • +3

      It is private, geddit? ;)

      • -1

Obviously he has none so you take his word that your info is private and protected. There are smarter ways to purchase online.

  • Just got one, thanks!

  • +1

    good price, ordered two.
if could pay by Paypal, why should customer sign up first? paypal should have delivery address etc.

  • Great deal, thanks very much. Merry Christmas!!

  • Just bought 2 x 2m HDMI Cable 1.4 with ethernet.
    Fingers crossed they both work.

  • Can anyone tell me why is this Premium HDMI 1.4 Cable 1.5m Braided ($14.99) cost so much more than normal HDMI cables?

How does this compare to normal HDMI and is it worth to get it?

    Thanks in advance

    • +3

Here I was going to give up a kidney & take out a second mortgage for an AudioQuest Diamond 3.3 when I could buy one of these - and these come with Blue LEDs!

I'm guessing its because the premium ones are gold plated and probably have better shielding, the next generation of displays sporting 4K resolutions will require more bandwidth (which is what HDMI 1.4 gives), they also now encourage (or is it force) cable manufacturers to label what type of 1.4 cable is being sold as per the HDMI Cable Standard page. I think these are HDMI Standard with Ethernet.

  • Cool, just bought 2

  • +1

@ thushan, LMAO thanks for the link made my day.

  • Has anyone gotten an email saying their order has been dispatched?

  • Don't know if anyone has "gotten" an email, but, maybe somebody's received one.

  • Just ordered one for my Philips Player, thanks. :)

  • Received my order today in my PO Box. Sydney northern beaches. Thanks for quick postage.

These OZNETICS branded cables are the also same ones that alot of other online retailers are selling.

  • Hi Guys

Guys if i have sent you an email saying it will be delivered tomorrow it was sent 1000%. I cannot control aussie post and there delivery times. I myself had to wait 3 days for a parcel that was coming from 3 suburbs away in city cbd region

        • update - did get a response to my email the next day. I am happy with the response and finally got my cable. Thanks!

  • shipped (27th) but havent received yet,( BNE)

  • still waiting

  • Ordered 2x of these on Xmas day, received them 6th of January. Just under two weeks.

It's a $4 HDMI cable with free shipping, give the seller a break ffs.

If you really needed one so urgently, there are plenty of retailers selling them for $30+ in every city in Australia.

    • thank you for your understanding. People are still receiving there christmas cards that were sent in early december, but i can understand peoples fustrations also

  • bought 1 blue led, used it once on PS3 to watch a dvd and it burnt out already. The dvd stopped and the blue led cable lost connectivity….. at least i know its the cable because the light never came back on.
