$5 off $30+ Purchase When You Purchase via The eBay App @ eBay

100

I opened the eBay store page on my desktop today and was presented with this offer via a middle-of-screen notification. It appears to be targeted. I have linked to the T&C's, but a TL;DR is below.

The offer entitles Eligible Customers to $5 off the purchase price (excluding postage costs) on all items listed on eBay.com.au, except the Excluded Items, when they spend $30 or more using the eBay App. A maximum of 1 transaction applies. Multiple items may be purchased in one transaction (up to a maximum of 10 items per transaction). All monetary amounts specified in these terms and conditions are in Australian dollars (AUD).

As per the T&C's, the end date varies depending on when you are targeted. Mine ends 11:59pm on the 17th of Feb.

I wish they would bring the free and $1 listings back - they were well useful

I couldn’t agree more. Bye EBay

    • The only thing you can really do now is get your two free listings per month from parallel listing with Gumtree.

But I certainly never lost a single item when I have to pay FVFs.

Me too. The totals are too much after PayPal takes their bite and lets face it, selling on eBay is risky. You are at the mercy of all kinds of unreasonable returns and dodgy claims. I do it when its cheap or free but full price - no way.

      • Is this promotion still active? Last deal on ozbargain is showing expired.

        • It's still showing on my Gumtree.

As always with ebay, all I got was the middle-finger.
