Every Nespresso compatible pod I've ever used particularly Vittoria has been a poor fit for my machine

    • I think it depends on the machine. I have a new L'or machine and it will not use plastic pods, but a colleague at work with the same machine does not have that problem. L'Or support say their machines one work with aluminum pods. I had a cheap ass $10 machine I got from Cash Converters and that thing used any Nespress pod.

    • I've had nothing but trouble with Vittoria pods in my Creatista machine. They either jammed or dropped straight through.

      No issues with L'Or pods.

      • same. Vittoria was a nightmare in both my L'or & Delonghi Nespresso Machine.

      • I think that's because Vittoria are plastic pods, they're not aluminium pods. Maybe that's why

        • Some Vittoria ones are plastic, and some are aluminium.
From memory, the ones from Woolworths are aluminium. The ones from Coles are plastic.

Goes to show that the Vittoria pods are very inconsistent.

bought Lungo Estremo Intensity 10, cheers!

  • cancel your subscription

After cancelled subscription can you do it again next time?

    • Yes, I've had about 5 subscriptions for the same l'or pods (previous all cancelled).

      • Lol

  • I'm a big fan of the India pods, thanks!

  • Thanks, I find the Colombia pods are great for every day drinking, while I have some more specialised ones (that cost about 6x as much) every so often. They also go pretty neatly in espresso martinis!

  • Columbia seems to be excluded. showing $45 or $40.50 S&S for me

  • non-biodegradable, and made in Europe and imported, lots of carbon footprint on these.

There are other suppliers who are Australian owned/operated producing biodegradable pods locally you could choose to support instead.

    • they are recyclable though, so it's half the battle.

      • The recyclable aluminum pods are a bit of a scam. You can't put them in normal recycling, have to request a box from L'Or to post to their recycling partner.

    • Republic Organica Sydney pods are my fav biodegradable ones, and have recently discovered more boutique brands like Normcore also using biodegradable pods too.

  • What's the right way to recycle these alu pods? Do I need to individually clear the coffee out before dumping them into the recycling bin?

  • Awesome! Still going through my pods from the L'or free machine promo.
The XXL pods are awesome. Hopefully theres a promo for those

    • That's why there was a promo. You're stuck in the xxl ecosystem now, just like printer cartridges.

  • sad that the decaf L'Or capsules are not included in the sale :( https://www.amazon.com.au/LOr-Espresso-Coffee-Ristretto-Deca…

  • If you are good with flybuys/EDR pts and combine with supermarket giftcards, it is cheaper to buy in store. That said this deal comes pretty close and is easier to excute.

  • What's a good recommendation out of the ones that are still available? Usually take an espresso.

  • A few months ago, I got 100 for $29.95.

  • What's their use by date?

    • Unfortunately you won't know until you get it.

The last lot I got in December were use by June.
