    Price matching target.

  • +2

Look like Camel doesn't have EB Games/Zing $99 price from the past .

    • +2

I thought Camel only tracked Amazon prices?

    • Was this a price error?

      • +1

No a catalogue special sold out day 1 .
        Early guys enjoyed it :)

  • T Rex set is $299, better to secure that one before it retires. Better value than this droid.

    • +1

I see BrickHawk is predicting a 2022 retirement for that set. Interesting. Regardless, I ordered one earlier this morning anyway. It's been a while since it was that price.

    • T-Rex is an app-controlled powered set competing with Droid Commander?

    • T-rex isn't retiring until the end of this year at best. Droid already retired o/s

  • Worth it just for the R2D2 build now, even if it's small.

Bonus is the motor and program controls.

    • A UCS version of R2D2 is expected this year later on apparently…

  • Great set with 3 builds and robotics, my kids loved it.

  • Target limited to 1 = nearly out of stock .
This is going to be a fast OOS I think .
    I'm temped with LEGO® Technic Catamaran 42105
    $49 .

    • Where is it for 49

      • Forget it . I got it from target. Nice price . Thanks.

      • Target

  • Showing as $358.83 for me, special might be done.

  • Can take further $10 down using target sign up code if buy from target online store

Why did I just buy this?

    • It's the OzBargain way.

  • Back to $358 at Amazon, got one at Target thanks

  • Back in stock for $179 at Amazon.

    • bought?

      • +1

ummed and ahhhed for a bit, and now it's gone. so didn't have to buy :)

    • Resistance is futile.

  • Bought one. Why I buy it??

  • Worth or not? No ideas

    • I was flipping a coin and seeming its on the better of predicting European guy WS for retirement , it should at least beat cash in the bank by a large margin .

  • +1

Isn't it a waste of money for ozbargainers?

  • I bought it because I'll think about it after.

My only issue with these sets is that it's app-dependent and it sucks, it's the way we are moving forward but a lot of great toys that rely on apps, like some of the sphero star wars toys. It just becomes a paper weight once the app is discontinued in the future or no longer updated for newer iOS/Android. I know peoples thought process is, just enjoy it, thats it, but I want to get this for my kids to use when they are a bit older.

    • You have the sculptures at least with one looking decent :)

    • +1

Apparently you can program this via scratch on PC if you have a Bluetooth dongle/laptop

    • but I want to get this for my kids to use when they are a bit older

If by "use", you mean "play with for 10 minutes and never touch it again", sure. Just like the Sphero, these toys are just expensive novelties where the "fun" just wear offs way too quickly.

  • +1

These are fun, the annoying part is only one motor so you have to hot swap between the 3 builds, or by buy more motors for like $100 or more each

  • +1

$60 each build seems like a decent price. Bought!

  • +1

Price changed back to $350+… Target seems to still have stock so ordered 1 from there.

  • +1

Thanks I got one for my 8YO nephew who only started doing some robotics things in school.
[EDIT]: I think I may have gotten the last one as it looks to be back to the RRP now.

    • you're a great auntie/uncle!!

  • +5

Bought, even though they were not the droids I was looking for.

You don't need to buy this Lego 👋
