    These look identical to the red, green, blue, yellow etc bands that were getting mass produced in China and drop-shipped all over the place when covid kicked in (as indicated by the rated weights on each band).

    Just another mass-produced clone of the same bands being sold elsewhere. I've had two sets of these kinds of bands in the past (both refunded and the first broke in 5 minutes) and they aren't even remotely rated according to what's listed on them. Best way to determine the quality is by comparing the thickness of the bands. When a 6.8kg band looks almost identical to a 18.2kg band, you know they aren't great quality.

    Pro Tip: PTP Fitness are the only bands you will ever need. I'm not affiliated with them but my PT recommended them. He hasn't steered me wrong before and he was 100% on the mark with his advice :-)

    Ever notice how these ali express junk posters always make some bullshit claim about quality, like their product isn't the same thing bought of alibaba with a custom logo slapped on.

    Just once I'd like them to show some proof of quality.

    There's a lot of work FBA sellers do to create a brand, source these products, and get them customised, even though they are usually from the same factories as other sellers and in a lot of cases just identical products with different logos. One of the important parts involves checking the quality before placing a mass order to ensure claims made by the manufacturer (and other sellers) are legitimate, because not only are laws different when Australian buyers purchase products from Australian sellers vs. overseas sellers, but also because these sellers are literally building a brand from the ground up.

    While it might not be the most innovative thing to do, these are usually micro businesses that have to make very large ($10k USD+) investments to get these products manufactured (customised) and shipped in bulk. I don't know whether I'd say this is a bargain suitable for the ozb community being that you could almost certainly get the same thing (minus the branding) from AliExpress for half the price, but kudos to the seller for stepping outside of the 9-5 and trying to get a head start in a very competitive market. Sadly there's 5-10 spammmy posts like this every day, some are pretty shit deals and people buy them becusse they trust Ozb as a platform. All these people do is water down the site.

    I bought these off amazon sometime last year to do some rotator cuff stuff. It’s all they’re good for.

    I wouldn’t buy these to “exercise”. For shits and giggles I stacked them all for some chest and shoulder exercises, felt weird doing it and the ROM is restricted because the higher resistance ones don’t stretch as much as the weaker ones so you don’t really know what weight you’re actually doing when using multiple bands. It’s definitely not the total of each band lol.

    Anyway, the next day I felt fresh almost as if I didn’t “exercise” the previous day .
