Simply can't get around Kogan's randomly applied security algorithms - it locks me out of using any card (and sadly you can't buy 'First' with PayPal). Kogan acknowledges and says they'll fix but it never happens.

I can't be the only customer who is banned from using perfectly legit payment methods (CBA debit/credit cards) - so I'll neg as a warning to others that some definitely have major issues with this retailer.

But thank you OP, I would love to purchase.

    • But thank you OP, I would love to purchase.

Buy it from Amazon then. Why give Kogan business

      • There are actually some things I'd love to buy from Kogan/First. It baffles me that it's so difficult.

When kogan used to ship Lego they would wack the tracking label directly on the Lego box…. Is that still the case? Haven't bought from them since that incident.

  • Now $159 + shipping. $16.99 without a membership.

Amazon dropped to $159 with free delivery to Perth by tomorrow. Easy. Done.

Perth stock must've been gone when I ordered an hour ago, said by March 2nd, and now is saying by March 12.

      Bummer but oh well.

Noticed there is a lot of WA stocked stuff for next day delivery now. Amazon is also using their own courier network too. Ordered an SSD yesterday delivered this morning via Amazon Logistics

      • Yes they are getting better and better.
For electronics (e.g. SSD) Officeworks are also pretty good. Pricematch and same day or next day delivery.

  • So close to 42069 lol

  • Careful when building the engine. If you rush, like me, you will get to the end and realise the engine doesn’t work.

I found the instructions hard to follow on that part as well..

    • There are a few steps that could be clearer. If you put on the wheels the wrong way or put the pieces into the wrong location under the car it's almost impossible to pull off. Got to say that the steps otherwise were pretty good. I found whenever there's a step in yellow is important, it has to look 100% like the picture. As criticism some of the blacks and greys can be a bit confusing as the colours aren't the same. Also if there are a few pieces that look VERY similar and if you use the wrong ones then your car won't work. Probably a good idea to look extensively through the different pieces before starting. Some similar parts have 1,2,3 written on them if it helps too. Overall it took more time than I expected, and quite large but overall fun and looks amazing.

  • Amazon and kogan both showing $239 for me
