    No I don't think so. These are basically acrylic paint, so they're pretty resistant to cleaning. I got a couple of sets (different brand) that I've used for fine details on a canvas painting and as far as I can tell they're permanent / water resistant.

    I wouldn't give these to children unless you're happy to supervise closely!
