Get The ID Complete Pack for $44.99 on Steam (Includes RAGE) !

90

If you want to buy RAGE, now is the time!
On its own, it's 60.29, so you may as well get everything ID for cheaper!

I have played this game, and it's good, but very short. Definitely worth this price with all the other games, which are great!

Not a good deal, not a great game imo…

    • I had the same reaction initially and I like the game , but op's post should reflect the bundle , more than rage alone, I would probably grab this if I were a pc gamer

Actually, yeah, just had a proper look at the bundle, quite cheap for what's included…

Should focus on entire bundle, not just Rage

    good deal nevertheless

  • Aww, it's Windows only. Time to fire up the boot camp.

Or get a real gaming computer that doesn't have an eaten Apple as its logo :-P

  • Not sure why you are focusing on RAGE when its such a bad game.

The pack overall might be good for some though.

You make it sound like it's terrible. I wasn't enjoying the game at the start, but once you start getting creative in your kills it opens up.

I focused on RAGE, because it's their latest game, and just recently was being sold alone for ~$90 on Steam.
Changed the title to reflect the entire package. Thx for the comments. This is my first post.

    • fair enough :)

I like the new title better personally.

  • a) this is old and b) it doesn't include Wolfenstein 2009 so I wouldn't call it "complete"

    • That's unfortunate. I wonder why they did that?
Perhaps the game was primarily developed by Raven software, and valve didn't think it goes here. I don't know..

      • +1

More than likely because wolfenstein 2009 was
        Published by activision

        • So what? A lot of id Software games have been published by Activision: Doom 3, Quake 4, etc. How is Wolfenstein 2009 any different?

        • Pretty sure wolfenstein/rage are the only 2 games available on current generation consoles, and it's totally plausible to me that activision would not allow the game to sold as part of the bundle for some reason

      • Quake 4 was primarily developed by Raven too, yet it appears in this bundle.

    • I didn't even know there was a Wolfenstein 2009. I'll have to check it out. cheers. :)

    • Did Id have anything to do with Wolfenstein 2009 (and if so, did they beg to be taken out the back and shot after seeing the results?)

I think Wolfenstein 2009 just used the name, just as Id took it from Castle Wolfenstein for the Apple II. Don't see that in this bundle either, and it was a great game.

      • Wolfenstein 2009 was great, I thought. It used the id Tech 4 engine, and id probably had as much involvement in it as they did with Quake 4, which was not done in house either.

  • seems very similar to borderlands…which is another great game…

Fantastic. This package pretty much chronicles my gaming life starting from the seminal Wolf3D(which I still am obsessed about all these years later). So many memories.
