  • Consider getting some spare remote controls, the one that comes with it could fail after several months.

    • +1

I had the same issue with my set. The remote only lasted a couple months and they are very flimsy. Fortunately I only use the speakers on the desktop and they're within arm's reach, so it's not a deal breaker. Important to keep in mind if you're going to be using them for couch/tv setting.

  • Would these stay paired to a Google Home device? Would make for great sound while playing music.

  • I have these.

Fairly good speakers, but if I were to buy them again I might get the ones with the subwoofer. The lows are there and good for something this size, but with some music and in particular some movies I miss the rumble.

My remote hasn't failed yet but I could see how it could.

Bluetooth pairs and remembers devices, but as with any device without a display (and some with) if there is any problem it's frustrating to resolve.
