  • Meh, be ok if 20% off their catalogue prices…

    • This guy. Sees 30% off, is not impressed.

    • Quite the contrary, this is when you stock up on filters. Those are quite reasonably priced to start with, and they're generally excellent quality. Agreed that other items are probably too expensive, but I do like their filters.

      • Repco filters? I've just been getting ryco when on 20% off ebay sparesbox or supercheap sale etc.

        • +1

Depending on your car, genuine filters can be had for very reasonable pricing. One shop in WA has genuine Honda filters for $15 a piece. Made in Japan and not Thailand like the local dealership.

They also stock genuine Toyota filters at $14 a piece. And if you are really picky, he even has aftermarket filters made in Japan unlike Ryco made in China.

          • @t25: Where is said shop if you don't mind me asking?

            • +1

@whitelie: Probably better I drop you a PM, if you enable PM, I'll forward you the link.

          • @t25: @t25 could you let me know too please?

      • Grab one of the new Ryco n99 cabin filters, they're a bit of a gimmick compared to their other small micron filters (will do the same thing) they already have.

Also the revised 351K universal oil/air seperator kit might be worth it with this discount.

  • I'm in Vic and the Website also says Auto club members

  • Doesn't accept my racv member number, anyone have any advice?

    • Start tomorrow Friday.

      • It says my membership number isn't valid, you think it should work tomorrow though?

        • It should always work as they do 10% off every day otherwise. Change a digit or two and see.
Is there a hyphen or something in the number? If so, don't put that in.

    • Your doing something wrong, I picked RACV and typed in a few random numbers and it worked.
:) No I did not buy anything, I just applied it in the cart.

    • Are you putting in your member number or card number?

I recall the first time I did this I put in my card number and it didn't work, but when I put in the member number which is 7 digits long, it worked.

      • My membership number is 8 digits with RACV blue

  • Decent enough for me. Bought some consumable stuff (thread locker) that was similarly priced at SCA and Bunnings so 30% off is a win. Duplicolour fabric paint too priced similarly elsewhere. Garage creeper down to $49 which is about the same as Sydney Tools but in stock at least.

Also bought their junior GV toolbox but thinking it will be too small so will likely return it. $140 is a fair price for what it is I reckon.

Yes there is stuff that's overpriced, but pick your battles (products) and there's some decent prices to be had.

In store they used my card number which I had saved on my phone with Stocard (RACQ)

  • Thanks OP - local store gave me 20% off blackvue dash cams
