    If you have a moment, is there a benefit to the Bulb1S over this?

      Your 9W is an older version which is not as bright as the 10W version. If this is the newer version, this should be as bright as 10 W while supporting Apple Homekit.

          The RGB colour of the 9W is also quite dim not as bright as the 10W/8.5W newer version, not just white.

    WARNING BEWARE!

    I purchased from the "official" Yeelight Australia website from one of their last deals posted here and massively regretted it. The product was DOA and I contacted them and was asked to send it back at my expense which I did with full tracking. The package was delivered to them but I never heard from them again. They ignored all emails for weeks. I called them at a number they provided and the phone was never answered for over a week. It almost felt like they were running a scam operation with the lack of communication for nearly a month after I sent back the item to them. I was out of the product, out of the money I paid AND out of the postage cost to send it back to them.

    I even PM the company rep (OZcoool) of this deal and the previous ones and he too ignored every PM I sent asking for some help.

    They have ZERO customer support and you should assume that there is no warranty. In fact you may be better off buying from a larger Chinese website where you will probably receive better support.

    This was one of the most frustrating purchases I've had in a long while. I promised them that every time they post a deal on Ozbargain I would try to warn other potential buyers of what to expect so I am now fulfilling my promise.

      Just saying that having issues with a merchant is a valid reason for a negative deal vote. A negative vote may better draw the attention of other users than a comment down the page. Whether you wish to cast one is for you to decide.

      Same wise. Although my issue at that time was my fault (placed a wrong product), but the way they left me in echo of myself was so frustrating. Lucky I got my money back. But once again for the Yeelight AUS team: this is totally not the way you run your business in here, change it or you got to go.

    I purchased 4 of the Yeelight Smart Control LED WiFi Dimmable White Bulb 1S from this seller in December, wanting to be able to set them to cool white.

    They incorrectly state in their deal post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/590491 (and also their website): 'Adjust colour temperature 2700K - 6500K' and that they are 10W, however these bulbs are only warm white 2700k, 8.5W, Model No. YLDP15YL. It seems the description they are using is for Model No. YLDP05YL.

    I've emailed the seller several times regarding exchange or refund with no response at all.

            @UncleRico: Yeah bought some lights 1 was bad emailed them no response! At the end sold rest of them on eBay and bought hue setup.
