  • Price is required in title. Thanks.

  • +3

With this promo code this will be $99

    • Correct. Just bought

  • +1

Really want their T8 with the emptying station… Now to wait for it to come down in price from over a grand haha

  • +5

Maybe put 99 in title, it's an amazing price

    • +3

Not sure why this got downvoted.. it is $99 with the code

    • +7

      $100 off Amazon price.

But it's landfill if it doesn't have room mapping.

  • +1

For $99 can't go wrong so I got one. Bloody Bargain.

    • +1

Why the downvote? It is $99 and surely that’s a bargain

      • +42

It was me. I've had a similar dumb bot. Honestly, it's $99 wasted. I know it's cheap but keep that $99 and think of it as a $99 coupon off something that actually works.

You literally won't use this 10 times before you get pissed of with it and it just sits there.

        • +1

I guess it depends on your expectations

          • +2

@steve84: Why would you expect very low for a vacuum and pay for it? Let alone $99 wasted?

          • +4

@steve84: General expectation is to get house vacuumed and if that does not happen then it’s crap even if it’s $50!

            • +2

@Yankyviking: I plan to augment with my stick vac so my expectation is not that it will do a thorough job of vacuuming the house. I see where you’re coming from, and will report back after I pick it up today whether it meets my expectations

        • +1

Highly depends on the schematics of the house and how your furniture and items on the floor is laid out. I had a simple townhouse before and something similar worked fine for me. But after I got a house and more stuff, I needed one with mapping to say no-go zones. comes down to your requirements. not a 100% landfill item.

        • -3

I think the neggers paid a lot for a robovac and they are now trying to justify their existence

        • +5

Do it once do it right

        • +1

I paid $220 for mine with a spare set of rollers/brushes…..don't regret it one bit.
Is it perfect? no, but when your hands are full with work/school and a kid, it sure does make all the difference being able to turn this on when ducking out to the shops/ playing with the kids/ working from home.

        • Try Eufy Robovac. It’s priced reasonably and works flawlessly for me in the last 2 years.

          • @TimApple: Reporting back and so far I’m happy with my purchase. Is it dumb? Sure. But it works for my area and left long enough will end up covering the entire floor. Bargain

  • +1

Seems fair for a dumb robovac.

And by dumb I mean very dumb. Navigation is pretty poor without a laser.

    • +1

So this one wonder around aimlessly?

      • +2

correct it has no VSLAM or LIDAR so it's dumb as they come.

    • Navigation is pretty poor without a laser.

The Dreame F9 with VSLAM (no laser) is quite good.

      • +2

Fair point about VSLAM, but i'm talking about ones without VSLAM (which appears to be the case for this Deebot here).

I have a Roborock S5 Max, and my last one was an iLife v7S (no laser). iLife did the job and picked up everything, but wandered aimlessly and had to move everything out of the way because it would get stuck on it.

No such issues with Roborock, and finds its way there when I say Hey Google go to bedroom etc.

$100 for a dumb robovac is very fair price i'll give it that, especially when LDS laser ones will just start getting cheaper and cheaper.

        • +1

i didn't see robovac getting any cheaper over the years

          i remember xiaomi gen1 were $2xx back in 2017 ebay , and gen2 S50 were $390 ebay

now they are both more expensive than ever

  • +15

Looks like a dumb bot. Never buy a dumb bot. If it doesn't have room mapping it's landfill.

    • +1

for the price it is actually excellent value. Not every room requires mapping. Bought this just for the front living room which has a step up making it impractical to use my Roborock for it. This bot is absolutely perfect for that room.

    • +1

Not everything requires mapping. Even there dumb ones will clean a small apartment nicely given it has enough battery and suction power.

  • +3

I am not sure why people are getting negged when mentioning $99? That's how much it comes to when you apply the coupon. Very cheap.

  • Is it better than the deebot n79 ?

    • +27

Despite the ripper price, it's not much better than attaching a brush to your pet's tail and crossing your fingers.

      • +4

I guess thus has a slight advantage in that it can suck up some dust and dirt.

      • +2

        I have contacted RSCPA

    • +1

I have the N79T, had it for a year or so. Yes it has no room mapping but the algorithm it uses picks up everything in my house. Granted sometimes I have to manually block off rooms to focus on an area but works well for me. Got it for bargain price and does everything I need.

  • Reviews look impressive. Got one thanks OP what a Bargain.

    • You mean the multiple ones in this very thread saying that it's landfill grade?

  • +2

Great deal. Paid $100.65 delivered with discounted 5% off gift card via Suncorp. Seems well-reviewed for a budget robot vacuum cleaner.

  • JB's website says $150 off $399 = $249 🤔

    • +1

      Use this coupon 92960224334

    • +1

Also only appears to be in store pick up. Cant add to cart so unable to apply coupon.

      • Really? It must be low stock (I assume)

  • Good deal

  • And original price was $399!

  • Click and collect from ok distance branches disappeared while I'm checking out. Looks like stock is dropping down rapidly

  • +1

More than a few “worked well while it lasted” reviews…

  • Out of stock, says in store only

  • Shows me instore only.

    • Yes, same here, stores show in stock but unavailable for click and collect so no way to use this code at all

  • Might be an error?

    • +2

got an email ready to pick up

      • cool - i'll try instore. thx

      • Yep same, see how it goes!

  • Hi OP,

What would you do if you buy this vacuum and have stairs to vacuum, what should people do?

    • +28

      Get one for each step.

      • +1

        Best answer hahaha

    • +2

Or another possible option is a biological vacuum robot named WIF* (their noise level is extremely high sometimes tho). Lol

    • I don't think anyone expects a robot vacuum to fully replace a normal vacuum. How else are you going to vacuum your furniture, pillows etc. So, same idea with stairs - you will have to vacuum them yourself, perhaps with a stick vacuum.

      • I use a dustbust and my roborock and that's it pretty much. My dust buster has decent power

  • -3

Haha, I got it last one at Hurstville for $99 , thank you OP

    • +1

      My condolences to your wallet

  • How to redeem instore??

  • +4

Have the deebot 900 "smart" one. Still dumb. Doesn't have a memory, get stuck and goes to sleep, only does part of the house etc. Think you have to spend a LOT of $$$ right now to get anything that actually works. Maybe roborock software is better, deebots is terrible and has never been updated.

    • +1

Thanks for this. Makes me feel better in deciding to put that $99 towards a second roborock for downstairs instead.

    • sorry to hear, i have Roborock S5 Max and gets firmware updates every couple of months or so. never had an issue with it, and maps everything flawlessly, even multilevel

      • +1

Good to know. I heard good things about the roborock, but thought the deebot smart model would be ok. It picks up ok, just loses the base and misses parts every time it's used.

        • Shame, try and flog it off on Facebook and get yourself a Roborock

  • OzBargained?

  • +1

Does anyone know if they will actually accept the coupon in store to bring it down to $99? No more C&C options.

It’s a dumb bot but a cheap dumb bot which will hopefully navigate a tiny space fine.

  • Can you schedule this to run daily at a specify time?

  • +1

Got one after reading some reviews. It's a no-brainer at this price! I reckon it's getting OzB'd pretty quickly!!

  • How do you order online for click n collect?

    • C&C not available anymore

    • They just update to in store only

  • can you use the coupon in the store??

  • +1

Dam maybe I should of for $99
I’m thinking they put it up for $99 when it should of been $249

    • +2

I'm thinking that might be the case.

      $150 off ticket = $249.

      Accidentally did $249 ticket + $150 off.

  • Just got back from collecting it for $94.05 (5% off GC @ AAMI). Thanks OP

  • +2

Cheers to the comments, I won’t be buying one.

  • Thanks OP just picked up one at JB Brighton

They just punched in the code number for me

  • -1

Got 3 - Thanks OP! 3 House warming gifts done!

    • Three friends who won't be inviting you around for pizza ever again…

      • +4

Is that because it can't pick up pizza very well? :p

        • +1

Good one! Maybe UncleRico can deliver Pizza himself to all his friends ;p

        • LOL!

Pizza and everything else according to reviews…

  • +1

Looks like they have fixed the price

  • Doesn’t look like any stock in NSW.. called few of them .. damn .. missed it

  • +1

Just sold 3 of them to a guy at my local - sold out!

Don’t people sleep in anymore on Sunday? :)

    • Three? Broden lives in your neighbourhood.

  • Got stock at my local store can the code actually be used in store?

    • For C&C only, so step outside the front of the store, order online and go have a coffee to kill 10 minutes before your C&C is ready.

  • -2

Was about to buy but comments here suggest it's not of great quality so will pass.
    Thanks OP + commentators!

    • +2

You were too late anyway, couldn't have got one

  • All over?

  • +1
