@Dex38313: Wrong. You cannot use the code in-store and there are still a few stores with stock

            • @GregFiona: Yes U can I just rang a stir in vic and it stated code can be used in store the punched it in went from $249 to $99 as it’s still instore at $249 befor code

              • @Dex38313: in-store 399 sticker , BNE

                • @dcep: When I rang they had four the guy had just put the $249 tags on em then when he put number In came to $99

              • @Dex38313: went past Bankstown(NSW), price is $399 in store, mentioned the code and staff said not accepted.
Came back home and saw the barcode posted here to use in-store, but the price would only go down to $249, that’s how much it was on-line this morning without any codes

            • @GregFiona: Incorrect !

When I went to buy at 10am (Brisbane time), the website said in-store only. I called the nearest store to me that showed stock - she had 1 left but couldn't hold it for me because they can't hold the last one apparently.

While I was driving there she called me back to say that a customer had just walked in and bought the last one, but she had ordered a stock transfer from a branch north of Brisbane, and would still sell it to me at $99 if I came in. When I arrived it was marked at $249 on the shelf, and she took me to the register and put it through at $249, and then took the $150 voucher off, so I paid $99 for it. They will call me when it arrives in store.

@Andy01: my gravatt logan , sticker price 399

which store you went to ?

                • @dcep: Oxley.

The lady was very helpful. She said that the closest store that actually had stock of new units in boxes (apparently their online stock includes the display units) was Morayfield and that is where she ordered the transfer from.

              • +1

@Andy01: Andy, you are not correct either! In-store price is $399 and the store I visited wouldn’t accept the code(I just saw the barcode posted here but that would max take the price down to $249)

                • @GregFiona: I beg to differ.

The store (Oxley, Brisbane) has the shelf marked at $399, marked down to $249 (as per the special price mentioned in the email), and she rung it up at $249, and then applied the $150 coupon.

I am not guessing - I did actually buy one (I just haven't got it yet because they were transferring it over from another store) and I have the receipt in front of me showing the price at $249 less a discount of $150, with a total to pay of $99 (in black & white).

The instruction in the email (that I got from JB HiFi) was to print the coupon with the barcode and take it into the store, which is exactly what I did, and they accepted it.

If you did something different or was given a different treatment from a different store, I would not know, but I am quite correct - I can assure you.

@Andy01: Read the rest of the comments please, not all stores had the discounted price and not everyone got an email with the barcode. I'm happy that you were able to score one, you could potentially help someone if you posted your receipt

People buy anything here as long as its cheap

  • Has anyone received confirmation for click and collect?

    • +4

Yes, I ordered click and collect. The vacuum is currently cleaning my lounge room as I search for new deals on ozbargain… winning

      • Sweet, I waiting for my confirmation. Maybe stores in WA are not open yet. Cheers

      • How are you liking it? Worth the purchase?

        • So far I've had move a couple of things so it can move around ok. It got caught in a bit of the vertical blind cord and had to manually remove that. I had a look at the dust compartment and it appears to have picked up a surprising amount.

    • +3

I got it and playing now (⁎⁍̴̆Ɛ⁍̴̆⁎)

  • Aw man missed out :(

    Or is it still available?

    • Nope. They’ve wised up to it, said it’s a mistake and stopped honouring it in northern Melbourne stores.

  • Thanks OP, Went in store and on the POS system scanned at $399 but on their portable devices and shelf ticket it was still $249. They reluctantly gave it to me for $99 with the voucher. This was at 1pm.

Do not buy cheap robot vacuum, it will annoy you.

    • +1

Very good robot for my small unit , if you live in a big house, serious, that is not good , but if I am rich, I will Hire a cleaner .

      • For a small unit do you need a robot vacuum?

        • +5

Of course need it , I am so lazy ,haha

  • Anyone tried it out yet?

    • +2

Reporting back and so far I’m happy with my purchase. Is it dumb? Sure. But it works for my area and left long enough will end up covering the entire floor. Bargain

      • Cheers for that

  • +2

I had issue with wifi connection, authentication problem, probably router issue. But tried it with the remote and its basically vacuumed most of the house. Had to help it out a bit but that's expected with no mapping.
Best part is it can clean under beds/sofas

  • +3

Not that dumb!!! Returns to its charging base ok and is whisper quiet. Woke up 2 days in a row with sparkling clean carpet. The cleaning schedule ‘Auto Clean’ in the app is handy. Very happy with the purchase.

  • Tried mine now. So glad I paid $99. Don't believe it's worth more than that.
It's ok. Would I recommend it. Prob not.

  • +3

Similar to others who got this bot for $99. I am very happy with my purchase. It is dumb but does the job of keeping the floors and carpets cleaner than before and I really like that. I would have like to buy another for the same price for downstairs too actually. Probably wont buy it for anything more than $100 though.

Moreover, I am always mind blown by how it always finds its base by itself and charges itself automatically, so fun to watch.

  • Anyone got theirs from a delivery order? Mine still stuck at “processing order” since 28 February.
