Yes, this is nationwide. A little tip that I’ve found as a TM, the tubes that have a toothpaste style lid on them are extremely runny in comparison to the tube pictured above which is more gel like.
Don't be pointing it at someone during opening, got it.

What really happens when this passes expiry anyway, I doubt it becomes less effective, maybe the consistency breaks down (becomes more runny)?
Or the alcohol content evaporate and you end up smearing covid all over your hands ???
Covid in a tube. That's a downside.
Maybe if you left the bottle open for weeks.
Just be careful with using expired sanitiser. Instead of killing germs, it will encourage growth instead.

It'll be easy to see if it's passed its useful state. It would need the alcohol to evaporate and you'd see the volume go down. That said, I've had a 5 litre container of metho with no lid for the last couple of months in the garage and almost none of it has evaporated. This stuff will be fine for years.

Ethanol isn't going to go bad. The consistency may change but that doesn't matter.
this one is smelly, though it is tight ass cheap but smells like it was churned out of the slit that hold the tight ass together, Scott has pretty poor sense of smell bless their factory workers who have to put up with this smell all day in the factory. For goodness sake, how difficult it is to include a little fruity smell or tea tree? Even cheap eucalyptus smell is ok.My toilet scrub gel smells better than this, heck my foot spray smells better even my arm pits smells better.

not after they already put garbage in it, also they need to test what smell goes well and not react with whatever gunk they put in to produce that putrid skunk smell. It really look like a rushed job to make a quick buck during covid - classic whipped it out from the kitchen in a jiffy type product.

I have honestly never smelt anything this bad. The first time I used it, I had no idea it would smell the way that it does, poured a good amount onto my hand and I kid you not, I gagged to a point where I teared up.
This shit is rancid, would not take these if they were free.
I legit would prefer the risk of covid than have this foul rancid putrid repulsive garbage on my hands.
Not that it really matters now but the risk of covid spread by contact was greatly overestimated. Just about all spread has since been found to be airborne, not surface.
And airborne over a lot more than 2 metres too. How far away can you smell a fart in a room? Yeah, that far.
Dont need sanitiser but I have to buy this now just to see how bad the smell is…
i suppose everyone is different, but i don't find it too bad. it certainly doesn't have pleasant smell.
I recommend this hand sanitiser. (providing you like your hand sanitiser to smell like a shit took a shit)

I'll be the judge of that. First step, we will need to rent a lab.
The ABC did an article about hand sanitizers back at the start of the pandemic and Scotts was one that was found to have less alcohol % than quoted - think they quoted 70% but it was found to only be around 60% FWIW.
Also going by the picture in OP, it expires this month.
