  Keep in mind the U12S is the older model with a smaller heatsink, and significantly worse fan than the U12A. The U12S also only comes with one NF-F12 fan, while the U12A comes with 2 of the far superior NF-A12 fans.

  This price/deal is likely clearance.

    I never thought I'd be watching CPU cooler fan review videos…..and I never thought I'd find the drama compelling! But I watched this review while I was researching my recent build.

    Of course this is only one reviewer, but he suggests that the U12A is a disappointment compared to the U12S.

    He ends up recommending the Scythe Fuma 2, which I did not get as it wasn't in stock at the time.
