If you care about your records, don’t ever buy a Crosley Cruiser.

    Cheap but junky

I'd rather buy something used from an actual audio brand. Good vinyl is expensive so don't waste it on a crap player.

  • Do yourself a favour and don't buy this turntable. Instead look into the Audio-Technica LP60/LP120.

    • LP60 is questionable too. Better than the Crossley, but still not great.

  • The price is sus

If you can't afford a decent turntable that won't ruin your records, then you can't afford vinyl.

    • What turntable would you suggest?

      • I am happy with my Audio Technica LP3 as an entry level turntable: https://www.whathifi.com/au/audio-technica/lp3/review

I bought it a while ago and haven't really kept up with the latest models, but read some reviews or best of 2020 articles at whathifi.com and you'll get an idea on what is good at your pricepoint.

  • are they really that bad?
