40% off Gillette Cartridge 8 Packs $29.40 @ Coles (Including Skinguard)

130

Usually Gillette’s Skinguard doesn’t come under the 40% off on multipacks.

Selling out fast in store. I had to visit two Coles in my local area (Indooroopilly and Toowong) to pick up the last pack in one of them.

For anyone who needs to shave regularly for work and suffers any irritation I cannot stress to you enough give Gillette Skinguard a go, I shave daily and have always had issues until I switched to them.

    Still 12x more expensive than a DE blade even with 40% off. Beside cost, one of the reasons I switched from Gillette to a DE razor was skin irritation and I haven’t looked back.

    Wow shaving can be crazy expensive if you let it be! This deal works out to $3.68 per blade.

    I buy top of the range double edged razor blades which give a much better shave and only work out to $0.33 per blade! (This is what I use: https://www.mensbiz.com.au/feather-double-edge-safety-razor-… )

    I think everybody who buys this Gillette multi blade rubbish needs to hand in their Ozbargain licence.

    • Good quality razors being the Fusion range by Gillette are one of the few items that I pay the asking price for.

      Tried using cheaper ones in the past and I may save a few bucks but always end up regretting my decision!

      In this case I bought their regular Fusion blades from Coles today for $21 which is decent value in my experience;

        All multi blade are still rubbish compared to a safety razor- and considerably more expensive.

        • I’ve been using both for more than 25 years, if you are in a hurry you can have a quick shave in 30 seconds with a multi-blade razor. I do not recommend doing that with a safety razor.

          • @GregFiona: Guess it depends on your skin/courseness of your beard.I've got sensitive skin, and very thick facial hair. A quick shave with multiple blades gives me horrid neck rash. Yet i can do a reasonably quick shave on a safety no problems. Not 30 seconds, but fast enough that it's not an issue.
