Beta infants aren’t compatible.
No idea how they’re not losing money from this.
They are losing money on this 100%, but the idea is that if someone is shopping around for a car seat for an infant and they see this "$1 extra feature" that can be useful, they may want to buy a car seat from this specific brand and thats where they make their real profit.

Watching the instructional video hurts my brain. Why not use a separate baby car seat and pram instead of all this? I know babies sleep a lot, but it's not much to transport a baby from a pram into a baby car seat since they usually continue sleeping. I do generally like P&T products (had the trike for my kids back in the day), but they're ridiculously heavy for what they are and having modular designs like this will only add to the weight.
