    In fairness, I think it should be good enough and quite bright for a battery light.

    With the 2400mAh battery, I'm guessing it 'might' run for about 1 hour at FULL brightness but I've asked for some more details about run times below from the seller.

    I'm also not sure what 'low' power run times are about I'm assuming it would be around the 20 hour range possibly but this is a complete guess as we are not sure how many lumens it's running at in low mode but that should really be enough to provide enough light to 'see' better at night before switching to full power mode when motion is detected for 30 seconds at a time.

    I'm also interested to know from the seller if these batteries are replaceable or not as one issue with this kind of lights is after a few years you will need to replace the batteries (if they are really cheap batteries or used allot it might only last 1-2 years)

    I was thinking the same and then compared with the ones I have in my backyard. I had purchased these - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4PCS-100-LED-Solar-Powered-PIR-M… : 1000lm each - very bright, however they do not stay on as this one does (but costs quite a bit), also it looks cool white whereas I prefer warm light in the backyard

      Thanks for the link, I think 900 or 1000Lm is good enough for most lights like this (not much difference between 900 vs 1000).

      Just as a comparison it produces more light than a traditional 60W light bulb would (approx 800lumen) but a little less than a 75W traditional bulb, which in most cases is enough to see what you need to at night and not have to fuss with cables/electricity and easy to stick all around the house.

  Do you have any details on how long the battery last on each mode roughly? "long-term continuous lighting" is not quite doing it for me.. hahaha

  Eg, I'm thinking of Mode 2 (Stay on low light all night and turns full brightness for 30s when it detects motion) but I'm wanting to know how long the battery lasts on the low light mode and how many times the full brightness mode for 30 seconds will last?

  Also, can the solar pannel be removed and mounted in another location? (Eg, we have a carport and need to install it under the carport so will need to run a cable onto the roof above (between the carport and house roof) so it can charge during the day) is this an option or possible with this product?
