My wife and I love the slightly sweet and lightly salted ones :)

    • That's my new favorite - yum!

  • Other flavours are on sale also. My family loves the sweet/salty one.

    • Username doesn't check out.

      • WTF. Are u saying my username doesn't check out? Are you using a Chinese server hosted in Nigeria?

        • I was just joking that Mr Miyagi in the movies doesn't have a family, thought you'd get the joke lol

          • @YeemaiI: ozbargain is my adopted family….

            No, didn't understand the joke…

Price matching Woolworths for those without prime.

Still seems so expensive for the quantity compared to making your own

      These are great.

I have a popcorn machine and it makes great popcorn.

      But it is plain.

To flavour it with salt, it is hard as most of the salt falls to the bottom of the bowl.

To flavour it with butter and salt is messy and the bowl has to be washed since it is oily with melted butter.

      • Flavacol combined with either “popcorn oil” or coconut oil will yield cinema popcorn.

        You're doing it wrong.

        I make mine on a stove-top in a pot.

Place a bit of olive oil, get it ripping hot and place two kernels.

When they pop, it's ready for the rest. I put about a cup or so, and leave the pot sitting off flame for a minute.

They cook, then I empty to bowl and add butter to the hot pan. Swirl the butter around and melt it, add the popped corn back, and toss. Then salt.

Comes great. I realise this isn't a proper method/recipe as I didn't tell you about the time I tied an onion to my belt, but it'll have to do.

        • Was it the fashion at the time?

    • But laziness…

    • Where do you get the cheese flavouring though? I have nutritional yeast but it doesn't compare.

      • get real cheese powder?

  • can you really just buy 3 for $4.26 and it will get delivered to you door?

    • +1

If you have a Prime subscription. Otherwise it's + delivery cost

      • Yes I have prime subscription

        • +1

You can buy a 5 cent pencil and it will be delivered for free if it is a Prime item. I always thought that was the main point to Prime, and Prime Video was just an added bonus.

          • @AustriaBargain: but im curious on how they are making money when the cost of delivery is more than the item itself?

            • @Homr: Amazon use their own drivers (who have to run their own car and only get paid $108 for a 4 hour delivery block, which equates to bugger all after expenses and taxes) and would have negotiated a very good rate with Australia Post. And we pay an annual fee for Prime. Amazon makes billions, they can absorb the costs and are happy for any and all business.

            • @Homr: An algorithm probably tells them what to charge for Prime items. And they probably have logistics out the arse. I bet they probably can automatically move things closer to each city in anticipation of upcoming Prime deals to ensure fast delivery and minimum warehouse time before certain deals even go live. They probably have a script that allocates certain amounts of certain products at certain prices to ensure that their prepaid and precontracted deliveries get used just the right amount.

Ebay can often sell things with free shipping for less, but not as fast or reliable as Amazon packages and delivers.

              • @AustriaBargain: I don't know what that really means but it sounds like next level

                • @Homr: He's probably basing that on the fact that the warehouse packers get told the most efficient paths to through the warehouse shelves to collect the order items and return to the packing station.
And the fact they are timed per order packed!!

    • Yes.

Snatched 6 and attempted to buy more and it says "We're sorry. This item is not purchasable now. We suggest you to remove it." thanks OP

  • Bought a dozen, thanks for contributing to my weight problem

  • +1

Thanks OP bought 9. Not joking, I thought I bought 1 of each flavour and didn't realise it was min order 3 units per flavour.

  • These are good when I'm lazy, but flavacol + coconut oil is still the best popcorn ever.

  • Usually dispatch between 1 to 2 months…ugh..no thanks! I'm not waiting a possible 2 months 😱

    • I bought some today and have an ETA of Friday

      • +1

I bought mine from woolies and eating it right now

    • They say that but it's usually shipped out much sooner, like 1-2 weeks tops. Could just cancel anyway if it takes too long.

    • Ordered yesterday and will receive today.

  • Do the cheese ones have flavour enhancer 621?

    • MSG? Considering it’s in Doritos, Cheetos, and anything else cheese flavoured that ends with “o’s”, I’d guess not. MSG is good for you, makes things taste great.

        Is that you uncle Roger?

  • Anyone have a source for Mushroom Popping Corn. It's the type used in caramel varieties that pops round

  • Anyone know the Marcos? 😬😬

    • Polo?
