HDMI+Optical input (use HDMI and it will switch on/off with the TV and TV remote will control sound too) as well as BT wireless streaming from a mobile phone too.

    Looks like several reviewers are saying if you connect those rear speakers to a 2.1 system it just provides a copy of the front speakers but at a lower volume - more of an ambience thing than a true 5.1 system. Not sure how they'd go with this one? But a great price on the soundbar itself.

      I just added the 9000XY's to my Samsung Q70T 3.1 and Id agree that often thats the case but the Q supports ATMOS and in some stuff that's compatible or in the pretend surround mode, it adds more than ambience for sure! I just mention it because its a nice to have if you find it a cheap option as I use them in the other end of the house so I can hear clearly the TV while in the dike or getting a shot of moonshine from the freezer! Now I never miss a line of dialogue…

          YES. Made for a sweet cheap but top spec'ed sound system for half what an onsale Q950 would have cost me…

    You can't upgrade it to 5.1. It's going to be the same 2.1 just with stereo sound coming from the back. I learned it the hard way, now looking for proper 5.1 setup.

    I have a Yamaha YAS-108B at the moment, looking to get this maybe for another room. Much difference between them.Wireless sub seems nice addition that don't have on my Yamaha sound bar.

    Bought. Thanks. Easy to setup with modern Hisense tv using HDMI cable. Turns on and off with tv, volume controlled with tv remote. Vocals in movie are clearer. Nice bass from subwoofer that didn't happen at all with the tv. I thought good chance I'd be disappointed once I got it home, but totally a step up from the tv speakers.

      Impressive & cheaper than in store a couple of days ago when I visited! They also had the HW800Q 3.1.2 atmos (q70t with a bigger base & can use the same 2.1 rear speaker kit too) for $529 - it’s a good deal too if your tv supports atmos like my EKO 75” does! But the 2.1 is 90% as good for everyday improved audio IMO
