  If one were to pick one to play, which from the list would be the one? I've not played FF in the past and JRPG isn't a new thing to me.

    Lots of people consider VII the best but with FF this varies a lot as everyone has their own favourite.
    I would suggest to have a look at them on Youtube and pick whatever you like best there.

      X was my first, loved it and then I played them all. VII, VIII and IX are great storywise but graphics are originally PS1 era and can take getting used to (all are excellent though). XII is underrated, great game, story not as strong as the others but solid combat, cool world to explore and the jobs system is worth exploring.

      Lysander is right though, check them out on youtube and see what appeals to you.
