      It's $64.67 delivered.

A phone that takes 5 minutes to bring up the screen to make a phonecall is technically functional and also not worth having.

        • For $65 I'd suggest nothing much else but the phone calling app to be installed and running, so should be fine for that purpose.

@afoveht: I've had $60 phones that were usable, and I have had ones that were so slow they were basically paperweights. Setting your expectations so low allows manufacturers to sell crap that isn't fit for purpose.

The worst I've had was the Alcatel Pop 4….should have been Poop 4.

But keep downvoting though guys. Did you know that shooting the messenger changes everything?

        meh

  • Stupid question but if I just have this plugged into my Android Auto head unit 24x7 with a second sim card would this be laggy? Like do specs matter much with AA?

    • Yes it will be. I’ve definitely noted a speed difference with lower-performance phones on AA.

Great value if you just want to phone/text and a little browsing.

Bought it for my old man solely for this reason.

  • Could it be rooted for use as a 7-11 fuel chopper?

  • How can it be that cheap!

    • Don't forget 4% Cashrewards which will make it $62.08.

  • android 8 ?

    • Yeah, at $65 it should have Android 11 ;)

I don't know why people are whinging about 2GB at this price. It's not like the 1GB Android Go phones.
But the 16GB storage could be a problem very quickly. Android updates will chew a lot of the remaining space.

    • Don't know why you're thinking the 16GB storage is a issue with a microSD slot that can provide another 128GB.

      • That is ok for media but not apps.

        • You can put apps on an SD card? Sure it might not be as fast, but if you're even considering this phone speed isn't that much of a worry

  • I’ll take a stab at it for a sonos remote

  • It may be a crap phone, however it's great that it exists. It could be a good phone for someone who only has $65 to spend.

  • I purchased one as a backup phone in case of an emergency. It has turned up sealed, but there is water damage on the outside of the packaging. Anyone else experience similar? I haven't opened it at this stage, so can't comment on if it is functional. I'm inclined to return it and request a replacement.

    • Mine is good, I'm surprised how lightweight it is.

      • what android version is it ? and last date of security patch.

        does it have fingerprint scanner?

        Thanks.

        • +1

Android 8.1 and no fingerprint scanner. Bought it as a gift so can't check the date.
