    What's the discount?

Meh. Saw plenty of KN95 on here at less than $1 a piece.
And that was back in mask heyday.
    Here was 5 KN95 PLUS 50 disposable for $6.99

    • KN95's are from China. Of course Australian Made masks are going to cost more. Up to you who you want to support and who you trust.

Yeah fair enough, but in this space it feels like they are all of the same ilk. Throwing an Australia Made sign up shouldn't get as much cred as is does as usually you don't need to peel many layers back before you get to the inevitable 'oh by made we mean designed' or yes, we source 100% of our raw materials from PRC.. Australia made doesn't deserve an automatic above reproach badge.

I thought some of the dropshitters were bad, then ppetech comes along and is like "hold my beer"

    • +3

I'm a bit confused? You are saying you prefer 'dropshitting' over locally made? Or saying they're passing off dropshipped as local?

  • I just use the $15 per 50 ones from Kmart and it has protected me from COVID for the last year…

My wife used 100 packs of tissues (3-ply) for $2 and they worked fine too…

        • +4

i don;t have a wife but if i had i would have also told her to use $2 for a pack of 100 tissues to save me money for the beer

          • @lindol: Now we know why you aren't married.

Hope you were not reusing 😄

    • Hope you’ve been binning them properly!

My wife made about 6 and we were given a few home made ones, still going well.

    this is Australian Made.

    • +1

      Is it Australian Owned?

    • They were going for 20 bucks each not long ago. Now that COVID is kind of done in this country, they’re being dumped as you can see. Nobody wants them any more.

The manufacturer should sell on European or UK eBay.

Bought 100 pic for $9.99 here, work just fine

hope you get stuck with them.

    • +1

These guys are making masks in Australia and you're saying that? Geez..

      • -2

        still a rip off.
and I bet at one point they were asking even more.

hope every mask seller who was trying to rip off the public at one point gets stuck with them.
perhaps they can use it as their toilet paper.

  • Covid is almost defeated, we don't need masks anymore

    • +1

Unless you're travelling, working/living in/around hospitals or hotels, or are immunocompromised and living in QLD (based on current news).

    • +6

      Lol.

We're not safe until the world is safe.

But the whole world will not be simultaneously immunised. Immunisation only works short term… Covid will always exist.

There is going to be another strain/variant each year come along.. just like the flu. We'll all be getting jabs for life.

      • speak for yourself.

  • +4

I'll be generous and offer $10 delivered . I really believe that is the current market rate .

  • +2

biggest rip off , would steer away!

    How is this a deal?

Good to see Australian made masks. Hope the components are also actually made in Australia keeping Australians employed.

I have a whole pallet left of German masks (full EU content); hopefully this will keep supply chains active should we ever experience another shutdown.
