    Same cheap no bargain deal@shopback

    • +3

      have to agree that.

  • +2

at least, this deal does not require the App.

    • +2

u need it to start the challenge though right?

    • Every challenge requires the app to start and then you can make the purchase on any platform.

  • +23

    Tooo much effort nowadays

    • +8

Yeah, that plus the effort of following up on 2 missing cashbacks

      • +3

Completed the challenge but reward still pending.
Challenge on 31 July 2020 still haven’t get it (almost 7 months reward pending) unbelievable.

  • +1

If I use gift card as payment option, say on Amazon, will Shopback honor the cashback and $5 bonus cash back?

    • +2

Yes, as long as what you buy belongs to a qualifying category.

  • +3

    yeah nah

  • +3

not again. 2 shops. not worth it.

  • +1

    Cheers OP!

  • +10

2 shops, so twice the chance of a failed tracking or rejection.

  • What the shopback superstore store mean?

  • no ebay basically makes it not worth lol since u need two stores

    • I had $5 on ebay with $20 spend and let it expire. I was looking for some stuff, but all of it looked overpriced (because it doesn't stack with any codes).
Is it just me, or am I looking for the wrong stuff?

      • That's what happens with eBay. I seldom buy things there, i would usually go to aliexpress which is cheaper, unless i can't wait 2 months for it to be delivered

      • i just hoard some screen protectors and sports accessories, thats just me personally so not too hard

      • Printer ink? However I can get quite a lot of Printer Ink for $20. I got an offer of $2 for $20 spend, but it gave me a headache trying to meet the offer.

        • I don't have a printer, so don't need printer ink either.
          So I just save another $18 :-)

P.s.: you're right, it was only $2 apparently with $20 spend (lucky I didn't go ahead, I would have felt like I was robbed of another $3)

  • I reckon we should start voting down on these deals so ShopBack gets the message…
(no offence to the OP of cos, thanks for posting them!)

  • +4

One of the two I did last time didn't track so definitely not worth it for $5

    • +2

      couldn't agree more.

    • +1

In my experience with ShopBack, a missing $5 is the least of your worries.

  • Agree with others, prefer if it was just one store even if it was a higher purchase amount such as $5 bonus for $20 spend.

  • +1

If it was 20 AUD on a single one then I would have done it.

  • Bit the bullet and went to 2 different shops and got things I kinda needed but not needed. Haha

Fishing rod and tow hitch for upcoming Easter trip.

Got notifications not long after that I qualified for the cashback.

It was tempting as I had a gift card and discount code which I didn't use. Just gives me another reason to go back and spend more on things I kinda need but not need.

    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤫

  • It looks like 4000 limit has been reached. If I had started the challenge and completed 1 eligible transaction, would I still qualify for the second transaction even though the limit has been reached?

    • +1

You can check the status of the challenge in your app.

If you successfully started it, then it will still show up with words like "Congratulations, you have 1 of 4000 limited places…".

If so, you have until the 21st to do your shopping to meet the challenge.
